Going Under (After Downfall, Nicolina, Aku, permission only)

She slammed her fist into the tree and fell to her knees, crying
softly. She had taken straight to the forest after leaving home,
her bag dropped off somewhere along the way. "Why...why would he
do that after all we've been through?" she questioned softly and
sniffled. "Was everything you said to me a bunch of lies then?"
the more she thought about it the sadder and angrier she became,
her thoughts going back to Akus words and her own thoughts from
when Damion left the spider mark on her. "What am I doing? I
can't even go home nor can I go back to the apartment...I've
lost those two places and for what, him, and to protect the
others when in the end it led up to betrayal." she clenched her
hands, she shook her head. "Just like before I let my feelings
of fear drive me from my home, and now I've gone and fallen in
love only for it not to matter, he was right, these emotions..."
she reached into her pocket and smashed the stone on the base of
the tree.

A swirl of black leaves surrounded her as he appeared. "Do you
require my assistance again?" he asked, noticing the state she
was in he hid his smirk. "Or perhaps this is a different matter
altogether." he stepped closer.

She ignored his questions "You said you could make me stronger,
get rid of my emotions and give me the power I need to be a
better Guardian. Can you still do that?" she asked softly. These
feelings just make me weak, I was foolish to form bonds with the
others. If I am to complete my duty as a Guardian I must get rid
of them, then maybe I can return to the life I led before I met
them all.

He placed a hand on her cheek, forcing her to look up at him
"Yes of course, I can give you the power to defeat your enemies
and transcend the level for Guardian you are at now. I can
answer all of your questions. If you so wish it, the emotions
trapping you, all of it. I will guide you so you are no longer
stumbling in the dark, soon it will become your home." smiling
his aura began to surround the two. "Will you let me free you
Nicolina Nyx or will you allow them to hurt you further?" he
asked and took out a white dagger.

She looked at him and then to the blade, a part of her wanted to
say no, but her feelings from finding Nero in bed with Rue along
with Aku's dark aura made her decision. She grasped the dagger
by the blade and barely winced as it sliced her hand. This was
the path I was always meant to take anyways. she thought. A soft
gasp left her as she felt darkness seep in through the wound
causing her vision to darken as she passed out.

He smiled and combed his fingers through her hair "There,
everything will be fine now." he mumbled soothingly and took out
her cellphone. "I am certain the prince will make his move, he
will beg me I am sure for I have what he so desperately wants.
And of course those pathetic friends of yours will try to get in
my way but they won't get too far." he would send out his text
message later. In a swirl of black leaves they both vanished
from the forest.
