nero leaned into her touch and closed his eyes "i lost my
parents to a demon,and not as if that wasn't enough. the few
memories that i could have of them were hidden from me and then
i was tossed into the world to be food for the murderer of my
parents." a tear rolled down his cheek

to be a very wonderful person Nero-kun." she said and kissed him
on the cheek. "It is better to accept the past for what it is,
do not let it overrun and destroy your path to brighter future."

nero yawned and looked at he surprised "how did you make me do
that? are you a sorceress?" he laughs and lays down on the couch

She rolled her eyes and settled herself halfway on top of him
"Meditation isn't magic. My mother taught it to me and Dante. I
don't use it as much but I might get back to it if I want to
learn more about Selene." she explained sleepily and closed her
eyes. She felt a pang of sadness and wondered what her family
was up to right now and if they were worried about her.

nero rubbed her back as she laid on him "i wasn't talking about
the meditation goofy, i was talking about making me tired" he
laughed and continued rubbing her back "you never told me why
you dont want to go home" his voice became calm and assuring but
yet carried an air of seriousness

"Mh I don't meditating is a relaxation technique so I suppose it
makes sense one would get tired."she answered, she tensed
slightly as he brought up a topic she'd been avoiding. "No
reason it just makes sense, Guardians need to stick together
right? That and it would make more sense to keep family out of
this and I of course wouldn't stay with the day bird and you
offered." she rambled, trying to make her answer sound logical.
"Speaking of that day bird I was not a big fan of Roka's
girlfriend." she said in an attempt to change the subject.

nero stayed quiet for a while, letting it be known through it
that he didnt believe her. but still he did not push her " you
are not a fan of a lot of the guardians" nero laughed "although
i will say, she was very ackward....maybe i should've did my
sexy dance. that probably would've loosened her shoulders a bit"

She relaxed, happy he wasn't planning to pursue the subject. She
didn't want to revisit those memories and dreams nor did she
want to think about her obvious failure and weakness. "A small
smiled formed "I don't dislike all of them, I like you after
all. Besides I'm certain if you did your little dance she
would've bolted out the apartment." she said.
