A light smirk formed on the still sleepy demon's face as he saw
the prince blush. Running his hand through his hair and shaking
his head softly he sighed. "The numbers on the toaster mean how
much you want it cooked. 1 means warmed bread, the end means
charcoal. Lets shoot for something in the middle next time"

Damion tried not to pout, but he knew his efforts were failing
and that made the pout even more visible. "Then the stupid thing
should say that. I'm sure plenty of people assume the numbers
are for time." he said and glared down at the ground childishly.

Loki grinned slyly knowing Damion was trying not to pout. "Well
if it was for time, 1 would be short, and max would be a longer
time. We should let the toaster company know that their dial
should come with better intructions though." He crossed his
arms behind his head as he went to see what he could make them
for breakfast. "How do eggs sound? We can have toast cooked at
setting 3 if you would still like toast." He asked knowing
Damion wouldn't want to dwell on his failed effort.

He flopped down in his seat, "That is acceptable." he said,

Loki chucked as he turned to the stove to start making the eggs.
"Preference on preperation? Scrambled? Omlette? Sunny side
up?" he asked as he put the bread in the toaster to make toast.

"Scrambled." he said and rested his head on his arms, he
watched the toaster intently, knowing the evil device was his
current enemy.

Loki nodded, slowly waking up more and more as time went on.
Cracking a few eggs into a bowl he whipped them up with some
milk so they would be light, fluffy and airy. "Scrambled it is
then" He quickly went about cooking the eggs keeping an eye on
the toast, setting out butter and jam. If he timed it right,
the eggs would be finished at the same time as the toast.

He watched the toaster, glaring at it to the point a black flame
formed above his head. Gently swaying from side to side as
thought wondering if it should attack it or not. I am certain
Loki would not like it if I blew up the evil thing. he thought.

Loki finished the eggs as the toast popped. Setting out the
breakfast spread he smirked slightly, "You could destroy it, but
I would need to go pick up another if you want toast again."

He let his flame vanish "I shall let the device live for now,
but know it silently mocks me as it sits there." he said and
sat up.
