Lay of the land [open, afternoon]

Loki walked into the main shopping district. His demonic aura
was surpressed allowing him to blend in. He figured if he was
going to blend in with the normal populace he should get a good
idea about the area. Walking by the shops he held a bag. He
appeared to be a typical college student out doing his shopping.

Nicolina made her way down the street, her hair back in her
typical two ponytails and her arms crossed behind her head "Hm
what should I cook for dinner tonight, I feel like that idiot
doesn't have anything in his apartment but I didn't get around
to checking." she mumbled.

Loki continued walking down the street as his gaze landed on
Nicolina for a moment. Immediately recognizing her, his face
bore no sign of such. He wandered towards her looking fairly
lost. His brow furrowed he stared at a piece of paper that
appeared to be a shopping list. "I knew I should have brought a
map. Leave it to me to get lost going to get groceries." He
mumbled to himself on the louder side of mumbling.

She slowed down a bit when she heard the boy mumble about being
lost, her first thought to ignore him and keep going but she
figured it better to get used to social interactions. "Excuse
me, not to be rude, but are you trying to find the grocery
store? I was just on my way there now." she said, smiling a bit.

Loki looked up at the voice, a look of gratitude in his eyes.
"Yes I am. I am new to this city, and have managed to get
myself turned around. Would you mind it if I accompined you?"
Despite his confusion his words still held charm, almost
gentlemanly in his lost state.

She smiled "Sure, despite the city atmosphere the local grocery
store has a lot of fresh produce." she said and started walking.
"How are you liking the city so far? Oh my name is Nicolina by
the way."

Loki smiled and followed after Nicolina. "It's nice to meet
you, I'm Loki. It has fresh produce, thats great, I always look
for a nice base grocery store." He smiled as he answered her
question. "I'm liking it a lot. When I'm not getting turned
around at least. Its got an interesting vibe."

"Lokie...hm interesting name." she said and nodded, "Yeah the
aura around here is beyond interesting." she said, giggling
softly. "So what type of groceries are you looking for? I'm
heading down so I can figure out what I can cook for dinner."
she said and crossed her arms behind her head.

Loki laughed lightly, "Interesting is one way to put it. its
one of those get beat up in high school for it kind of names,
but when you have parents who like mythology you pay the price."
He smiled at her. "I was thinking of picking up some fresh
veggies for a pasta dish, and probably should pick up some meat.
Im sure I will be doing the grocerey shopping for the
apartment. Have any ideas for what you might make for dinner?"

She giggled "Well no need to worry I won't be beating you up. I
think your name is very nice." she said and her face turned
thoughtful. "No idea yet, but like you it'll probably be
something pasta based. My mother has Italian roots so pasta is
my specialty."
