       Audacity is free, open source software for recording and editing
       sounds. It is available for Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows,
       GNU/Linux, and other operating systems.

       I highly recommend that everybody does download Audacity; a lot
       of the tools and editing software available on there makes voice
       editing for our production wide-spread and available, also it's
       just so much easier if everybody were to use one program. Also,
       we're all able to export in the same file, so no annoying
       juggling of different sound files as I've heard people have
       problems with before. I will be writing a couple of topics on
       how to do some effects with the program, doubtless we'll need to
       use a few as this project matures. Also, Audacity is free and
       doesn't even take up too much space on your computer, so
       everybody should theoretically be able to use this.
