Speaking of the plot, did we ever have one?

       time.

       Idea for an arc:
       Ep 1 of Arc
Josh gets kidnapped, and results in Dan/Quinn arguing over a way
to find him, and rescue him. While this is going on, Jess sneaks
away from the base to try and find him. Before anyone realises
this, Dan and Quinn finally settle on a plan and set out to
rescue Josh. Nicola finds out that Jessica is missing too, and
before being able to contact Dan/Quinn to tell them, spots a
small enemy force moving towards the base. This leads to Nicola
having to defend the base alone, Dan and Quinn rescuing Josh, to
find out it was a set up to draw them out of the base. Jess is
       still MIA.
       Ep 2 of Arc.
Josh, Dan, and Quinn rush back to the base to try and defend it,
to find it locked down, and the enemy hammering away to try and
get in past Nicola's lock down of the base. The three try fall
back momentarily to think of a plan. Nicola contacts them and
informs them the base is under attack (prompting a sarcastic
remark from Quinn) and that Jess is missing as well. This causes
confusion and arguing, but J/D/Q decide to deal with the enemy
before worrying about Jess, since they were the more immediate
threat. They engage the enemy, and take them out with little
effort. They meet up with Nicola and try to think of a plan to
       find Jess.
       Ep 3 of Arc:

I don't know who the crap our enemy is, but I think the
kidnapping should result in Josh having a microchip in his brain
or something. Maybe we'll all get experimented on, one by one?
Idk, sounds a little stupid, but I'm putting it here anyway.

I don't know who our enemy is this time around either. Probably
       elites.

Got one. Human extremists, working completely independently from
the militaristic government, UNSC, who try to capture aliens for
experimentation. And then, knowing we have alien technology and
information on them, they try to come after us one-by-one? Maybe
they can send super humans after us. Something dangerous like
       that.

Then they interrogate us, asking ridiculous questions about
aliens and the like because of their insane conspiracy theories.
The government lied to us about 9/11, the true purpose of aglets
is sinister, and Red Robin has 32, not 31, flavors of ice-cream.
Also, one of you should scan the old boards for that one
topic... I forget what it was called, but it was the one in
which we discussed possible plot twists. And Nicola was the only
one to suggest anything good (like running out of sustenance).
       Remember that one?

Didn't know where else to put this. :/
I've been contemplating conjoining characters' backstories,
       interactions, etc. Ideas so far:
-Josh and Jess could have been on the same squads since they
joined the UNSC and have excellent war stories to share in
filler episodes. (I'm assuming we're UNSC, considering our war
       gear.)
-Quinn could be heavily acquainted with one of the "human
extremists" that Josh has mentioned. There would be some kind of
extremely dramatic rivalry, which I won't go into detail here
lest I glorify my own character, which ends in her fearing and
loathing him. The extremists' first contact with us would of
course be an attempt to defend us from the alien menace, but
Quinn would be mistrustful and later tick them all off. Cue
three-way war: humans, weirdos and elites all trying to kill
       each other.
-Uato could easily befriend (bromance?) our easily-likeable
Nicola, which causes his switch to [s]the dark side[/s] our
       side.
-Dan could channel his contempt for Quinn towards one of the
villains, both of them being equal in sniping skill. (Possibly
       Thrall.)
Good, or too forced? I'll be back in about a week; meanwhile,
discuss. That is, if you even look at Addled while three-fifths
       of us are missing.

I like the idea of relating the characters' histories and
interactions and such~ But I feel that Dan might be more
inclined to channel his contempt towards the human extremist
than the aliens, since your character feels she's rivals with
the human extremist while she doesn't feel the same way towards
Dan although he likes to consider the two of them rivals? Aside
from that, I think those all sound pretty good. ^^
