Jack Of All Trades, Jess-Syka

Name: Jess-Syka Mistoam
Ability Set: Jack-Of-All-Trades, extremely lethal with large
range of guns.
Personality: Jess is very clingy, and very dependant on others
to take care of her. She has very little stress tolerance, and
can be seen as emotionally damaged, breaking down in tears under
very little pressure. While being very skilled with guns across
the board, her inability to work under pressure makes her near
useless when separated from her team. She constantly needs to
have close physical contact with someone she is close with or
she might start getting depressed. May hold grudges over small
things. However, she is very protective of those she cares
about, and would not let anything harm them. She doesn't trust
people easily, and can be very skeptical of others. She is very
stumbly around any romantic issues. With proper care, she is a
great asset to a team. Otherwise, she is a three tonne anchor.
Relationship with Josh: BFFSIES!!
Relationship with Dan: Acquaintance.
Relationship with Nicola: Close Friends.
Relationship with Quinn: Crush
Loves: Tummy rubs, cuddling, hugging, shiny things, blood,
swimming, making out, being tickled, and flirting.
Hates: Swearing, Yelling, arguing, being blamed or not
understood, not being taken care of, being called weak or
useless, and being restrained.

Okay, so because the Machinima is changing hugely, it's time to
start the rewriting process, and our first goal is to get out
characters kind of hammered out.
What I've done here, is a basic character bio for Jess (ever so
graciously written by Narah) outlining the works.
Likes/Dislikes, Relationships with other main characters,
personality, and weapons speciality. This was thought through to
make Jess (who, as Twilli before) was grossly overpowered, to
being maybe the weakest member of the team due to a vast
personality difference. Other characters can remain mostly the
same probably, which is why the weapons speciality is already in
the thread title. If you want it changed, say so. Otherwise,
please post a similar character bio on your respective thread.
Relationships with characters are definitely not final, those
are just how the character sees other characters. i.e: Jess has
a lezzie crush on Quinn, who more than likely does not
reciprocate, however, Jess and Josh do see each other as
BBFSIES!! and cuddled up together and exchange feelings and
secrets and junk. And Jess would be fairly close with Nicola,
because they have time after time proven they aren't any use
fighting, and are usually stuck together back at base making
sure all the weapons worked fine.

P.S: All the Other boards have been hidden from the general
public. Me and Josh can still see them.

My question: How do you expect to have a female character? Will
you just make your own voice really high-pitched or use Rea?

I'm quite sure I can fool around with Audacity, or some other
software to make it work. If push comes to shove, I do have a
friend who's voice is kinda close to my actual voice.

I had the same question as Quinn. XD
I'd say asking a friend to voice for you is a bad idea. Friends
can move away or have issues with you or lose interest in the
script. I mean, if we plan to keep this running for as long as
we can, I want everyone to voice themselves because I know that
we're all in for the long haul.
We have a lot of other options, though. Here are a few off the
top of my head:
a) Jess learns how to talk like a girl
b) We use Audacity effects to make Jess sounds like a girl
c) Quinn or I try and voice-act character!Jess as well as our
own parts
d) Jess uses his normal voice and we make a running gag out of
how manly character!Jess' voice is. Perhaps, due to us possibly
not ever seeing one another not in a suit before, everyone
secretly thinks that character!Jess is a guy, and she gets
offended whenever anyone says that they suspect her of being a
guy.
e) Jess uses his normal voice (and/or) we use Audacity effects
and we establish that there is some sort of malfunction with
character!Jess' suit that causes her voice to sound strange.

I've already fooled around with Audacity enough to make a decent
sounding female voice. So, no worries there.
