Hi Nomad
Gide is an old IDE that comes with the latest version of GNAT
Studio. It is able to compile older Ada code, generally from
83-2005 but is used primary as a back drop engine for GNAT
Studio. I would install the GNAT Community Edition 2021. It's
totally free, has a good compiler and the IDE is great. If you
want to mess about with Gide, after you install GNAT Studio, you
can open an Ada source file using Gide. It probably won't
compiler/run - but it will show you some of the features it had.
