       Loss of Contacts after being hacked

       My email account has been hacked - I changed my password and
       that seems to be ok but I have lost
       my "contacts list". Is there a way of getting it back or do I
       have to trawl through my emails to recreate
       it?

       i imagine if the account was hacked they have wiped out the
       contact list, I think your best bet would be to email the
       helpline/support section. Explain the situation, you will need
       to prove ownership of the account (don't send any details until
       they request it) Then ask if its possible to have the data
       re-instated from their backups. i feel sure they will have these
       but if they are willing to do it will be another matter.
