Skype Dualphone 3088

Morning All,
We have over the past week or so developed a problem with our
Skype Dualphone 3088. It has been absolutely brilliant for 3
years, giving us a telephone without have the computer switched
on. However it has now stopped ringing completely when we get an
incoming call.
Anyone else got one of these bits of kit and had similar
problems, or does anyone know the solution Geoff?

I do not have any experience with these phones but a quick
google for the problem reveals this site

The site suggests that the handset may have become muted, Check
this out first and then report back.

Hi Geoff,
been there and done that! I thought originally that it was a
problem with the Skype software, but reverting to the previous
version made no difference.
Really annoying, cos the phone has been brilliant. But at 80 odd
quid I´m not too keen on just lobbing it and buying a new one!

Ok next suggestion, you may have already tried but here goes.
Menu, Advanced, Reset. this will reset the unit back to the
factory condition. YOU WILL LOOSE ALL YOUR PERSONAL SETTINGS
THOUGH.

I had considered but shyed away from that one..... I suppose we
are in last resort territory .
