Good morning. I have just switched my computer on and have
received a message saying
another program wants to modify firefox with an add on "Babylon
1.2.0"
Is this safe? do I need it and should I allow it?
Advice would be appreciated. Thank you
Yvonne

If you requested this addon, or if you have installed this
before and this is just an update then yes it is safe to say
yes. i cannot see any problems with this as it appears to be a
genuine addon for Firefox...BUT....if you did not request it,
you don't know what is is or does then say NO.
We can always have a look next week at the club and if you do
need it we can install it later.

Hi Geoff, I've no idea what Babylon is, unless it has something
to do with "Torrents" which I downloaded with Trevor yesterday,
so I will wait until Friday.
Thank you Yvonne

Babylon, in software, addons etc usually refers to online
dictionarys-translation software etc. i have known this to come
attached inside the install dialog boxes when installing other
software. Some box would be already ticked and this would
install automatically, bit like the things which say "set my
homepage to ......"
