       I have an e-mail from Firefox about  " A sleek new version"  and
       exhorting me to  "download it today".
       If I do this, must I uninstall the previous version  ?

       Firefox normally updates automatically - so I'd wait until
       tomorrow if I were you and can have a look at the email - I've
       not had an email like that.
