Hi david.
My other half (David) accidentally uninstalled electronic mouse
and keyboard on his hp computer he tried everything to recover
them even in safe mode. Eventually went for factory reset,
everything working fine but windows Xp has reverted back series
pack 2 and kaspersky internet security won't load, it needs
series 3. Tried downloading this from internet but too
complicated. Any advise would be appreciated.

A easy thing is that if you come next Friday - or if we can meet
in Arboleas this PM (Wed), I can give you a CD with SP3 on it.
Otherwise you might find it will install automatically via
Automatic Updates.
The thing is, you should (have) first try a System Restore to a
date just before the problem happened, or then preferably
restore from a recent backup rather than revert to factory
settings, as the factory settings will always take you back to a
much earlier state.
That's why we push the idea of regular backups to a second drive
as an essential thing to help with these sorts of issues.
I'll be at Maloans from around 2:45 today until about 4:00 -
I'll bring a CD anyway.
