Dungeoneering - 11-15-2014 - ALL DAY EVENT

Let it be said time and time again that Dungeoneering is much
more fun when done with friends. As such, we are going to be
holding some all day events centered around this highly
rewarding yet very confounding skill.
If you don't know much about the skill of DG, come on out, we'll
do our best to teach you the ropes.
If you are struggling to reach that specific level, we can help
you get there in no time!
What about those coveted rewards? See something you want that
you can't seem to get enough tokens quickly enough for? We can
help you there too.
High levels got you stuck in a tunnel where the light at the end
is still too small? You too can join in. We'll put a little
nitro into your tank so that light gets bigger a whole lot
quicker!
Types of groups:
Training Group - these groups will focus on helping each other
learn the ropes and how best to work each floor to what each
member is hoping to gain.
Rushing Group - these groups will focus on quickly completing
each floor.
Saga Group - these groups will focus on helping members find the
items needed to start their next saga.
Gear Group - these groups will focus on helping each member get
equipped with their favorite combat style gear at the highest
level they can wear.
Rewards Group - these groups will focus on helping each member
maximize their rewards, both xp and tokens, from each floor.
Sink-hole Group - these groups will focus on watching out for
sink-holes and help members with their completion.
There can also be mixed groups with some members focusing on
goals along with the main goal of the group.
Whatever your need, let's use this day to help others get more
out of this skill than what they normally would if they went in
alone.

[font=arial]i'm ssoo in. would love to lvl dg, but not alone as
I don't know what i'm doing. I see many tasks r solo but don't
think I will be able to complete till I know what i'm doing, or
have a good idea of the dg system. other tasks can be done with
others which could be one of the things we might be able to do
in these events. not really looking to get 99 any time soon in
this skill, 85 would be nice, but if to set a goal, it'd be 90.
agi is 88, thieve is 85 n dg 82, only skills that r holding me
back to 90+ all. so when these days come about I hope I can
join, learn n in time teach. its high time we do these events n
have many more to come.

I would join the rushing and sinkhole groups, If I'm on during
that time I will most definitely join in for DG, got to get 120
anyways. Side goal of 115 atm. 48m xp till 115. :D

My day began with doing floors with Selby. We did 33-37. It
was fun, and I got to level 87. We also got some tasks done.
After we finished with floor 37, Selby had to go, so I did some
floors with Lethal. He helped me get a boss task done.
I then needed leave and take care of lunch for the family.
When I get back, I have a few solo tasks to do before getting
back into the grouped adventuring :)
Before I left, I saw Mage joining in with Lethal to do some
floors.

I heard that Lethal did around 2 floors with Mage and then had
to stop.
Once I got back, I did some solo floors for tasks. I went to do
a 6 minute C6 floor when I ran into some trouble with a puzzle
and then ran into a frost dragon. Well, I needed a frost bone
for another task, so I took longer on that floor. Turns out
there was no prayer altar in any of the rooms, so I had to
scrape up every drop for the funds to purchase the materials
needed to construct my own altar in the gate room. I was able
to get the supplies and complete that task. I came back after
that floor and after 2 tries, was able to complete a floor in
under 6 minutes.
After I completed a few solo tasks, I did some floors with
someone I just met named Brewer123. He helped me with a few
floors and when we got done with one floor, I got a Primal Maul!
I bound it right away. We stopped after that floor.
My token count is around 14k atm with a need for 38k for the
rapid renewal prayer and then a couple hundred thousand after
that to fully upgrade a one of the ring titles.
That brings a question. How can I best get tokens by solo? Do
I focus on lower floors?

[font=arial]I had to work over hours that day, missed it all,
got home just in time for citi tick n that's where I have to be.
hope not to miss another event, done missed 2 now n i'm not
liking it at all. I do want to dg though, just not good solo n
to find people willing to put up with me is hard. I know very
little of dg, and to have very high stats don't help either.

I'll be glad to dg with ya sometime, Bliss. I'm currently in
the mood to do floors when I'm on.
As for having high skills, it's great! There are skill doors
that many I've done floors with can't do. So they are relying
on me to do them. Makes me feel a little more important.
Anyways, we'll reschedule this event for another day.
