Lackluster Creativity

So with double xp right around the corner, I thought I could
give a little advice to everyone. You don't have to take this
advice, but I think in my opinion it is useful.
1. Don't train prayer on the weekend, the bonus does not stack
with altar or the ecto, as such prayer is wasted. However do buy
bones if you plan on banking 99 prayer on this weekend, as bones
will drop a significant amount.
2. Train Summoning, it is one of the best ( and most expensive)
skills to train on weekends such as these, trust me getting to a
pack yak is awesome! If you can I'd prioritize getting to 96
summoning as fast as possible.
3. Train faster and expensive skills on the weekends. Slow
skills and like divination, agility, runecrafting, are slow, if
you have no skills left, fine it is a good choice, but otherwise
try and train something that is fast, you will waste less time
and money on these skills doing them on the weekend, and that
gives you more time to finish off these really slow skills.
4. If anything try and get to 85 dung on the weekend, frost
dragons are a pretty good source of money, I for one would have
loved for someone to knock-it into my head to get 85 dung much
sooner than I did.
5. Don't wear yourself out, only play as much as you feel
comfortable playing, playing 42 hours of the 72 hours is rather
unhealthy. ( yeah yeah I know, I'm one to talk, just smack me
and tell me to take my own advice.)
Have fun all,

Wow, awesome advice, Spart!
I admit, many of my skills are already 99, including some of the
expensive ones.
I agree that training expensive skills during this weekend is
the best, if you can manage to stock up on the supplies.
I'm currently only 82 dung, but I would love to see if get to
85. I consider myself a descent dragon slayer as I have bested
both mithril and celestial dragons. Frosties would be a welcome
addition.
As for what to train for the weekend, I would probably choose
herblore. I'm currently level 85 in that skill. What would you
suggest I make? I can spam the phoenix for feathers for the
super anti-fires, but I'm sure the regular anti-fires must be
going up in price by now in anticipation of the weekend. Is
there something else I might do where I could just buy all the
ingredients and not have to spend time gathering?

I would definitely Suggest herblore, as overload potions are
really amazing once you have used them! Trust me it would be
worth stocking up on the super-antifires as you will use them a
lot faster than you'd think. Possibly work
cooking/fletching/firemaking if not 99? But I do suggest working
towards herblore and summoning as they are useful!

Thank you, Spart.
Cooking, Firemaking, and Summoning are already 99, but Fletching
is 87.
What would you suggest for my Fletching level?

It cost me a little bit of money, but I did broad arrows from
90-99, but it was really fast and wasn't like super expensive.

Thank you. I just might give that a try.
