Event Types

Events are the things that bring us together as a clan. They
allow us to meet other members of the clan and chat and discover
the things that each of us like to do and how we like to go
about doing them.
This board is a place where we can keep track of all the current
events as well as see how previous events turned out.
There will be different types of events. The following list
will grow over time. Please come back to this list to know the
details of each event type.
All Day Events - These events are intended to run the entire
calendar day mentioned in the topic subject or title. There is
no single event leader for these events. Members are not
required to stay at these events all day but are to listen out
for members who are ready to participate in the event. These
events are usually for helping members achieve required tasks
that would be difficult to do alone.
Events with a date and time - These are events that are held at
a specific date and time. These events should not start early,
but they could be delayed if key elements are not present at the
specified time or if circumstances warrant a short delay.
Members should be ready to start the event at the announced
time. These events are geared for a mass turn out of members.
These events could include ceremonies, parties, inter-clan
activities, or just a massive gathering to do something.
Spur of the moment - These events will have no planning. Not
all of these will be posts but some might be. These events are
when someone achieves something significant and wants members of
the clan to be present when it happens. This could be a quest
completion, a task set completion, a level 99 reached, or
something else the member finds significant. The only way to
know about these events is to keep an eye on the clan chat.
Collection Events - Events, like the Mystery Member Fund-raiser,
are events that run over a period of time. These events revolve
around the collection and donation of various items which are
then given to a collector. These events usually end with a
ceremony event where the collected items are presented for a
specific need or to the owner for the entire clan to benefit
from (usually going into the clan bank).

Please know that these events, especially the all day events,
are not meant to restrict activities to these times alone. Clan
members are free and encouraged to do these activities and
request help from other clan-mates as needed.
It is my goal that after these events, that clan members will be
better equipped to do these activities on their own or in groups
whenever they feel the desire.

[font=arial]like in the ardy tasks, there is 2 that involve
castle wars(be on the winning side, n to use a catapult). these
r the only 2 I have left to complete the task set for ardy, no
one does this any more so I am stuck not having them done.
maybe if others r in the same rut I am, we could get an event
together to get these tasks done. hope so, cuz it bugs me that
tasks involve mini games, I hate mini games.

Bliss, stop thinking the same as I!
I'm planning an all day task event, but I just haven't written
the post yet. But since you have now let the meow out of the
bag, I guess I should get in gear and write up the post.
