Agility
By: Acavier Date: October 12, 2014, 5:04 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
On Sat., I took a break from mining to do some tasks. I
finished the Ardounge tasks and moved on to the Falador ones and
the Seer Village ones with some Femmenik tasks as well. Two of
them I can't finish cause I need either a high herb level or a
high agility level. The Falador task set is just waiting on a
Magic Tree to grow so I can cut it down.
I mined in the Citi until I had capped and got close to 98, but
I'm still a couple hundred thousand xp away.
After capping, I decided to break from mining to work on
Agility. I was at 81 when I started. After strapping on some
silverhawk boots, I went running around the goblin agility
course (can't spell the name of the city). I was able to make
it to 82 agility before turning in for the night. My goal is
level 90 with an agile top and an agile leg set.
With summer pies and the surefooted aura, I might start earning
the agile legs early.

Yesterday, I ran around the goblin agility course with
robindobbin for a bit and got to level 83.
At that point, I grabbed my summer pies and hoofed it over to
the advanced gnome agility course for a bit. It wasn't
difficult and each lap was pretty quick. I even got the talent
scout to notice and send me to that little agility challenge
area, though I couldn't win any. I was, though, able to get to
84 agility there.
My plan is to get to 85 and use the surefooted aura to avoid
failing the course.
The trainer said that I'm 115 perfect laps towards the 250 goal
for the Agile Legs. Once I get them, should I start working on
the Agile Top early??
I of course do all this training while watching one of my
favorite TV shows, 24! Things are so fast paced in that show
that it's hard to walk away!

Running and running, it's all I seem to be doing these days.
Running from those gnomes, running from the talent agent, and
maybe some running from Bliss too ;)
I ran right into level 85 last night. With silverhawk boots and
some bxp, it wasn't hard. Once I hit 85, I turned on the
surefooted aura to see how it works. It was nice. No, I didn't
go all the way to 86, not even sure I made it halfway. I was
too sleepy after a late night on Sunday. Got caught by the
talent scout once, but as always, it was too quick for me. I
think I've only ever won once. I just looked it up. The first
win gets a gorilla mask. I doubt I ever got it.
Anyways, I'll just keep running till I get to 90 or decide to
use summer pies to get my task goal sooner.
No Agile Legs yet.

Well, level 86 was a full on train wreck, and I didn't even have
a ticket to ride last night! Oh wait, that was actually the
talent scout. I finally won the Pit, but I didn't get a gorilla
mask like I hoped, looks like I had already won it sometime in
the past.
Anyways, I got my Agile Legs and decided to stick around the
gnomes for a bit and break in the new legs.
I'm still a marathon away from 87, but at least I had the mental
state to break away and get ports done.

After a long drive home from work, feeling light headed, and
going crazy after listening to more Charles Paris mystery dramas
from BBC 4, I decided to skip an evening of Runescape and put
myself to bed early.
With all luck, I should continue my marathon this evening.

Well, after getting to level 87, I ran out of both bonus xp and
silver hawk feathers.
I decided to take my summer pies to the adv. barbarian agility
course. I ran, jumped, got pushed, and slid my way through 250
grueling perfect laps to get my treasured agile top and the
completion of the Fremmin elite tasks and got my boots 4. And
even through all that slingin' of mud, I didn't get to level 88.
Oh well, gonna put agility on the side and work on other things.

Well, after some more use of the boots and a little skilling
here and there, I'm now at level 89 with a little under 400k xp
till 90.
I'm on a quest to get all skills over 90, so I'm going to give
agility a little work.

Well, a few days ago, I reached 90 agility!
Yay!
Now to move on to other skills.
