       Collapsed lungs

       Hi Everyone,
       i have recently had a colapsed lung and i am worrying that i
       havent recovered properly. i still have slight pain around my
       ribs and the scars are not fading, is this normal for this to
       happen or should i go see someone about it.

       Hey,
       I have a bit of medical background. How did you collapse your
       lung? Did you have a chest tube in?
       I would expect some pain there for a while (especially if you
       needed a chest tube). However, if its really painful, or if
       youre feeling more short of breath, you should go back to your
       doctor.

       Thanks for answering my question, I has a spontaneous collapsed
       lung and I had a chest drain in for 3 weeks. I hope this
       information is useful.
