Jose Mourinho ‘Approached By Brazil’ Over Succeeding Luiz Felipe
Scolari After World Cup

The Brazilian Football Federation (CBF) have
reportedly approached Chelsea boss Jose
Mourinho over succeeding Luiz Felipe Scolari
after the World Cup.
Scolari is set to leave his post as Brazil’s
national team coach after tonight’s third-
place play-off against Holland, having failed
to guide his side to the final, suffering a 7-1
humiliation to Germany along the way.
And the CBF are believed to have targeted
Mourinho as the man to replace Scolari,
according to Spanish newspaper Marca .
However, the Portuguese is said to have
rebuffed their advances, insisting he has no
desire to quit his Chelsea contract, which has
another three years left to run.
Mourinho has not ruled out taking charge of a
national side in the future, admitting he would
consider the possibility of managing England
despite turning down the chance a few years
ago.
But for now it seems Brazil will have to
continue their search elsewhere with Mourinho
seemingly out of bounds.
