       Medel Agrees Personal Terms With Inter

       Inter Milan are closing in on Cardiff City
       midfielder Gary Medel, according to Turin-
       based newspaper Tuttosport.
       The Nerazzurri have made the Chilean their
       number one target as they search for midfield
       reinforcements, and they have already made
       one breakthrough.
       According to Tuttosport, Medel has agreed on
       a three-year deal worth €1.6 million per
       campaign, but the two clubs have yet to reach
       an understanding regarding the transfer fee.
       While Cardiff City are holding out for €10
       million, Inter aim to sign the midfielder on a
       season-long loan, where a €7 million buy-out
       clause will be automatically triggered if Medel
       features in 50% of the games next season.
       Seeing as how the two sides are not too far
       apart at the moment, everything suggests the
       combative midfielder will soon become the
       fourth Chilean to play for the Nerazzurri.
       Medel put in some very good displays for La
       Roja at the 2014 World Cup, where Germany
       are 13/10 favourites to defeat Argentina in the
       final.
