       Character Bio:
       Early life Josh was born in St. Louis Missouri. When he was a
       small child he was on numerous ships with his parents.
       Sometimes the postings had little to no action,  but there was
       times when the ships come under attack.  One ship they was all
       one together was nearly destroyed during a warp core design
       flaw. Josh was then sent to live with his Aunt and Uncle back on
       Earth.
       When Josh turned eighteen he enlisted in Starfleet Academy. He
       excelled at shuttle operations but he felt that he could best
       serve in security and tactical. He won a citation for bringing
       another idea that gave his simulated ship a tactical advantage.
       At graduation he and his fellow friends attended a party in
       which some of his friends was arrested for fighting.  Josh was
       arrested as well but released do to his attempt to stop the
       altercation. His first commanding officer decided to punish him
       by putting a letter of reprimand in his file.
       Josh received his promotion to lieutenant jg. about a month
       after his parents death at Wolf 359 on his second ship. The
       captain took pity on him after seeing how hard he worked on
       trying to prove himself to everyone as Josh felt he was being
       punished for a crime for attempting to stop the fight before it
       could escalate farther.
       Josh then received his promotion to full Lieutenant and was
       chief of security. When a friend of his was killed on an away
       mission he requested a transfer to avoid the pain.  In his mind
       he let his crew down because of a booby trap that couldn't be
       detected. He was then selected to join the crew of the USS
       Atlantis as their new chief of security and tactical officer in
       which he took with great pride. He still feels responsible for
       the death of his friend but that is the one thing that happens
       in Starfleet and on away missions and he's still learning to
       accept that fact and move on.
       While enroute to a mission on Hawking colony the original
       command crew was reassigned. Josh was granted command of the USS
       Atlantis as there was no one available to take over in time to
       safely rescue the colony.
