As Jacob exited the shower, he heard the alarm and the computer
announced the Intruder Alert and quickly got into his clothes.
He ran to Brooke and said "How did we get boarded?" He looked
out to their quarters door and said "Get dressed. We better head
to the Bridge." He walked over to a cabinet and grabbed two
phasers out and held one out to Brooke.

"Closer, more like a mate" he struggled to find the right term a
human would use and hoped Maria understood what he meant.
As he accepted the glass of wine he looked to her once more and
watched her "I mean as my lifebond".

XO's Quarters.
Maria looked at him and sat back into her chair. She was
clueless as to what to say. She was glad to hear it but confused
at the same time.
"A mate as in a girlfriend I presume you mean." She stated then
somewhat smiling at him before continuing. "I don't know what to
say to that... I have never been attached to anyone before..."
She stopped in the middle of what she was going to say because
it was something she never really opened up about it and didn't
want to talk about it when it could push him away.
Standing up, she walked over to where the salad bowl was and
took it over to the table and putting some on each plate and
sitting back down once again.
Taking hold of her glass of wine, she brought the cup to her
lips, and took a long drink then placing it back on the table,
still holding onto it.

The Edwards Quarters
Brooke had luckily just turned everything off as the intruder
alert sounded and looked up as Jacob ran over to her " I have no
idea but your right we need to get to the Bridge and find out
what's going " She replied accepting the phaser from him. " We
don't have time for me to get my uniform on, let's go" she said
and walked towards the door setting the phaser to stun as it
opened.

Rebecca tapped her badge, =/\= Lieutenant can I ask why you're
sending out a mass message to my staff? You do realize how many
are on duty at one time. If you're trying to incite a nervous
haze, you're doing a great job.=/\=
She was not impressed and it came across in her voice. To have
someone contact sickbay usually targeted the on duty officer or
highest rank. This had everyone chirping and nobody was quite
sure how to respond.

being in uniform. Neither do the intruders." He set his phaser
on stun and held Brooke's hand. When their door open, he led her
to the nearest turbo lift.

Josh wanted to yell out but he maintained his composure.

was not effected, during a general quarters call sick bay is
supposed to be locked down and the bridge contacted once the
lock down is complete.=^= Josh wanted to bang his head on the
chair arm. He was dressing down another other, let alone
another officer of higher rank. He really didn't mind if
anything would happen to him if such actions caused for it, but
he did have temporary command of the ship, given full authority
for the drill, so he's running it as he sees fit.

Turbolift
" True they won't, I'm just glad we reactivated our commissions
when we did and not sitting idly by in Nine Lives " Brooke
replied when they reached the turbolift. Once inside she called
out " Deck 1" and waited for Jacob to join her, she could feel
the adrenaline running through her body already and was prepared
for whatever faced them when they reached the Bridge.

said alert we would't be locking anything down. However, since
you've so kindly let us know that you guys are busy playing a
game - I'll lock the door as we have real work to do in here.

She closed the channel and shook her head before yelling,
"Marvis, lockdown....and ...someone go catalog the hypos in
alphabetical order." Rebecca stopped, "No...color code them.
That's more fun."
With that she sent off a short and stiff report that sickbay was
locked down.

The cargo bay and transporter rooms have been secured by the
security teams. "Computer stand down from general quarters."
Josh then stood up and walked over to his brother. "Well aside
from a slight issue in sick bay, not too bad. I'm just
wondering why the transporter chief wasn't at her post, and
where was the officer in charge of the shuttle bay?" He picked
up a PADD he entered his report about the drill. "Crew performed
well, sick bay may have internal communication issues.
Recommend Engineering teams take a look at the comm panels. LT
jg Rodger Heely, and Lt. Terry Logan from the transporter room
and shuttle bay respectively was not at their assigned posts."
Josh then walked back to the captains chair. "Attention all
hands this is Lieutenant Shepard, this has been a drill. Stand
down from general quarters, return to normal operations. Would
all department heads please report to the briefing room for a
debrief."
