Brooke looked back at Jacob and grinned " Your right we could,
although ... she paused for a moment " not having one hasn't
stopped us but to have a few days away would be nice, I guess
we'll wait and see what happens, the main thing is we still have
each other" She replied not forgetting what they had been
through lately and how lucky she was that they had come out the
other side virtually unscathed.

"It is not to mention we now have Little Miss on the way "
Brooke replied smiling back, knowing the sex of their baby had
been an added bonus when she had found out on their wedding day.
Her thoughts drifted back to the beach setting they had chosen
on the base holodeck it was everything that they imagined and
made them forget for a little while the horrors of the war.
Looking at her husband and then at the crowd that had gathered "
I think now would be a good time to bring out the food".

and placed his hands on her belly. "And you are eating for two."
He giggled and kissed her cheek. He went into the kitchen and
pulled out a buffet cart and pushed it out.
Jacob called out to the crew "Who is hungry?"

" True I am" Brooke replied feeling content especially when he
placed his hands on her abdomen and kissed her on the cheek. She
could imagine what it would be like as the pregnancy continued
and she felt truly happy and nothing could spoil their moment.
She watched as he went into the kitchen and brought out the
buffet cart and after leaving the bar in the capable hands of
Lucy and Max went over to Jacob to help him with the buffet.

Josh was walking around, he noticed several crew members, some
he's seen here and there, but for the most part none he's ever
seen before. He stopped in front of the window, he took a
drink and continued looking out the window. Galaxy Class
starship. I never thought I'd be on one of these. He thought to
himself.

Sharpe's Quarters.
Finishing with the paperwork, Maria stood back up and looked in
the mirror, thinking about the people lost as the Captain had
just given a toast to back in the bar.
For a brief moment, she wondered why she had got to live rather
than some of the others, but that guilty suddenly passed, as she
realised that she still had time ahead of her and she still had
her goal set to reach: Find her blood family.
Turning away from the mirror, Maria walked out of the door
heading back to Nine Lives.

Starbase 378-Temporary Quarters]
Patrick sat there looking at the Letter from his Brother John he
sighed when he read it and placed it down; His Brother and his
Late Wife was in a Shuttle accident some 6 weeks Earlier his
Wife didn't survive and John's children were left his Patrick's
father while John "Finds himself".
"Find myself my ass, a bit of a coward if you ask me" Finished
Patrick then looking to his right he looked at his Old Uniform
until recently he was Major Patrick Brown Company Commander 17th
Marine Brigade now with the disbanding of the Marines he was to
wait reassignment.
Patrick sighed as he stood up he put on his tunic and walked out
the Quarters he walked though the halls of Starbase 378 he saw
the old door to the Marine Barraks now he hear it's going to be
a School he smiled knowing that somthing good was going to come
out of this as he strolled he saw a group of Officer and he
walked into the Bar looking around at the group of pepole he
took a seat.

[USS Atlantis-Nine-Lives]
Sylok walks through the doors of the lounge dressed in his
standard duty uniform. He takes a quick look of the
surroundings, after spotting the Captain at a table with several
other officers Sylok approaches the group and says "Greetings."
To everyone.

USS Atlantis - Nine Lives (Ten Forward)
Droba raises her glass with a winking smile and toasted Sylok as
he entered,
"Hey'a there."
The said to Sylok with a rude sounding little giggle and a "come
hither" gesture. She wasn't drunk, but she just was one of those
people who was an empathetic party-girl, she got happy when
others were happy around her.
