Character Bio:
Born on a freighter, Maria was dumped on Earth as soon as they
arrived back, due to her gender and her family not thinking her
strong enough to help out on the freighter.
Maria was two when they arrived back at Earth, and was soon
adopted by the Sharpe family, and brought up in a nice area with
a loving Family.
Although Maria loved them all for taking her in, she moved away
to Star Fleet when she was nineteen, after beginning her studies
at sixteen, at home. At age twenty two she passed her second
exam in Science, specialising in Exobiology, after previously
completing her test in Operations.
Her first assignment was the USS Montanna as a Science Officer.
Within the Dominion War, Maria changed between Science and
Operations, depending on where she was needed most.
She settled as chief of Science after moving to her second ship,
the USS Ilanna. She was happy there, before she moved on to her
next assignment.

Maria looked around the room, full of people in uniform, it was
her first assignment and she was beginning to feel nervous, not
knowing what to expect as she walked into the room, full of the
unknown. She gripped her PADD tight , she finally laid her eyes
on the Captain
As she looked towards him, just sitting in the Command Chair,
the space between him and her seemed to be stretching further
and further, the more she thought about moving.
Don't think about it... Just go. She thought to herself, though
it was easier said than done, however a tall slim man walking
into her, knocked her out of her state.
“Sorry.” Said the man, making sure Maria was alright before
moving on to his station.
Taking a deep breath in, then out, Maria walked over to the
command chair.
“Cadet Sharpe, reporting for duty, sir.” She stated then smiling
and holding the PADD out for him to take.
