Josh entered the conference room. He saw his first officer and
went over to greet him. He noticed Admirals Brown and Hunter.
"Captain Shepard reporting as ordered sir."

Bill entered the conference room, like the rest of the station
it's newness was apparent. He moved directly to the head of the
table and took the seat first on the right of the head chair.
He would not do the dirty and sit in the chair usually reserved
for the senior officer. Which in that case would be Patrick and
besides Hunter felt that the seat he'd chosen offered a better
vantage point.
Pulling back the black leather chair, the Admiral eased himself
down and sunk comfortably into the padding. There he would wait
until the officers arrived, already on the table was a
collection of padds. Most contained crew information and others
were about the Valor's service history.
Hunter looked across to the chronometer on the wall, making a
mental note of the time and how long roughly until the rabble
arrived. John Brown was the first to enter and immediately
identified himself.

Hunter made no comment to John, he simply raised his hand and
gestured towards the vacant chairs. In fact he made no kind a
familial greeting, just an arched eyebrow at his words about the
Captain.
Close to an hour later

William looked up from a padd he'd selected, as it turned out it
was the service record of the man who'd arrived. "Glad you
could join us Captain Shepard, please have a seat! So I guess
we're waiting for your Second officer, why didn't he beam down
with you?"

Patrick sat there with his PADD and watched from his chair how
Hunter handled himself in reguards to the Valor Command Staff

"Sir we had an accident on the ship about an hour ago. A fight
broke out between an ensign and a crewman. I instructed him to
gather witness statements then join us here. I'm not sure how
long that will take because the mess hall was very crowded.
However if you would like to start I can fill him in later on so
we're aren't just sitting here and I'm not sure if you're aware
sir but the Federation council put the Valor on a mission with a
time table unless that mission no longer is a priority."

Hunter let out a long breath and sat back in his chair, the
packing cracked as it adjusted to his frame and posture. One
sure way of telling that the Rear Admiral was annoyed, was by
drumming his fingers, like he was doing at that moment on the
shining table top. A fight between a Crewman and an Ensign?
Bill leaned forward and selected the padd that held the Second
Officers details, he didn't peruse the details to begin with.
"I'll answer each of your points, one at a time Captain. A
fight between a Crewman and an Ensign you say?" His attention
shifted to Patrick for a moment, his look was plain and
unreadable, but in actual fact he was disappointed with what he
was hearing. He took a quick look at the information in front
of him before continuing. "I see Lieutenant Commander Harriman
doubles as your Chief of security and tactical?" His eyes moved
to focus on Josh. "Does he not have a staff that could have
dealt with such an altercation, surely it could have been
delegated to one of his subordinates?" Bill's focus began to
shift between John Brown and Shepard. "What kind of ship are
you two running? The last time I checked we worked for
Starfleet, not the Orion Syndicate or the Maquis. "Is
discipline generally a problem on the Valor?"

Patrick just looked blankly at Josh and John he eyed him for a
moment and placed the PADD down on the desk and crossed his
hands.
"I would be very Intrested in your Answer Gentlemen" Sternly
Stated Patrick

Josh looked at both admirals. "No sir. During my time as
commanding officer of the Valor or even the Atlantis this is the
first and only time a situation has happened. I instructed
Commander Harriman to interview of members of the crew and then
question the two involved after the meeting. He is using members
of his detail due to the fact that the mess hall was full at the
time. I received orders to return here right before this
happened and we was two hours away at the time. Right before i
left he was in the middle of an interview and speaking as a
former security officer I've leaned that you never leave in the
middle of an investigation and come back later. Be cause you run
the risk of receiving things that might not have happened or
other members of the crew might try to say cover for this
person. I'm not saying that would happen but it could. When i
was a first officer serving in the Falcon we had an incident and
i was told to let it go by Captain Andrew's. I refused because
fighting among crewmembers is something i do not nor will i ever
tolerate."
