The nod came quick and easy from Cormoran's head. He turn
towards the helm. Johnson sat there now turn towards him. He
had an odd expression on his face. Cormoran noted it, but move
forward.
"Hey Johnson, why don't you take a break for awhile. I clear it
with Commander Davis."
"That won't be possible. Sir." Johnson said, there was a slight
bite to his words.
"Johnson, you don't have to call me 'sir'." Cormoran thought he
was starting to see what was happening. "Look, I didn't choose
to get choose to get promoted. But I'm damn sure not going to
give up an opportunity like this."
"Whatever you say sir." The cool sound of indifference was in
his voice now. Cormoran sign inwardly. He just have to prove
himself. Until then let them say what they wanted. But it was
a shame. He liked Johnson.
"So, what not possible?" He said in a business like tone.
"Lieutenant Commander Davis is transferring off the ship today.
He going to the USS Concorde." Johnson finished.
"Then who's..." Cormoran started when it finally dawned on him.
"Congratulations. Sir. I've been busting my butt for a year
and a half. Waiting for a promote. And you come on for one
mission. And now you department head. Your father must be
proud." Johnson said bitterness practically leaked out of his
ears. Cormoran insides turn to ice, any warmth he may have had
for the man was now gone.
"Take the rest of the shift off to lick your wounds. But
remember there self inflicted." Johnson smile at that. A cold
smile. Then moved from the helm without another word. Cormoran
moved into the helm, and checked their status. There would be
more like Johnson. But for now Cormoran decide he concentrate
on keep the Valor in high orbit.

Patrick nodded and strightent his Tunic and headed off the
Bridge for the Transporter Room on the way he stopped at his
Quarters and grabbed two PADD's he had a Job to do and there was
one person that he had to talk to but he knew it would not be
good.

"Indeed the Party we both do'nt want" Finished John with a smirk
he turned and headed towards the Conference Room he heard the
Exchange from the Helm he did'nt step in as he wanted to see how
the new Officer handled himself he himself had to live in the
Shadow of his Father but it takes great men to move past it.John
still has'nt learned yet given the fact the Golden Boy is
boarding it was up to Brown to see what would be transpiring as
Brown walked he thought of what will be happening in the next
little while.

Conference Room
Josh and John both entered. Josh went over to the replicator.
"Computer large pitcher of ice water 3° Celsius and five
glasses." The extra glasses are just a precaution in case he's
bringing anyone with him to the meeting. Josh then took the tray
and sat it on the table. Josh then took his seat at the head of
the table. =^=Commander Harriman upon the Admirals arrival
designate someone to meet him and escort him to the conferance
room. Shepard out.=^=

[Bridge-U.S.S. Valor]
John heard the captain and responded. =/\="Aye sir."=/\= He then
tapped his Combadge and contacted his right hand.

John kept watch out the viewscreen for the Essex.

Jacob looked over and smiled at Brooke as she made her way to
him. "I don't mind babe." He replied to her. "Now I have a new
Engineer to watch over, I can spend more time with you and Caia
Mae." He gently bounced his daughter and smiled hearing her
giggle.

Edward's Quarters
"I know you don't babe and I look forward to us spending more
time together as a family " she replied happily as she watched
her husband play with their daughter. Again relieved that he
hadn't noticed anything wrong with her but as she continued to
watch them knew she couldn't keep it from him. " Actually I have
something to talk to you about before I have to get ready for my
shift".

[B]Engineering[/b]
Zyria walked around Engineering as she began her shift taking
over for Commander Edwards. She was grateful to have this
position and to be serving the Federation. She was happy to be
the assistant chief while Edwards was relieved and spending time
with his family. To Zyria, family was always important and
family always came first before anything else. Even her duties.
She checked to see how everything was after the mission was a
success with the Ba'Ku. So far, everything was OK. Engines were
fine, warp core in one piece. No leaks, no problems. Hopefully,
it will stay that way for a while.

Jacob looked at Brooke some more and wrapped an arm around here.
"OK dear. What do you need to tell me?" He asked. He was
wondering what it could be. He hoped it was nothing bad.

Brooke could hear and feel his concern for her and for a moment
didn't know how to say what she wanted to until finally she took
a deep breath and told him. " I think I'm pregnant again but if
I am I don't want anyone to know yet it will be our secret" she
said quietly. Normally she would go and get it confirmed
straightaway but this time she wanted to leave it a while so
they could adjust to the possibility eapecially with their
daughter only being four months old.
