Josh arrives on his new ship and is told to proceed to his
living quarters and settle in. He starts to unpack his
belongings and puts on his uniform. He sits in his chair and
looks around and relaxes for a while before his first meeting
with his new Captain.

"I just arrived at my new posting. The USS Atlantis. A fine
Galaxy class starship. Regretful i took a slight demotion from
chief of security to just security officer, but after what
happened it was a welcomed change of pace. I've read the specs
on this ship now it's time to know this ship inside and out
before i assume my duties.
"End log. "

Well it's be a little while since I've made a log entry, but
haven't had much time to myself since becoming chief of
security. I was shocked to recieve it but with the promotion of
Commander Brown that honor vane to me. I've been doing more
reports now than i did when i held the position on my last ship,
but it's mostly cause it's a bigger ship, more areas or
potential problems and more crew members and better weapon
systems."
Josh looked at the time and realized he was due on the bridge in
twenty minutes.
"Computer end log"

own command. The atlantis is a fine ship with a good crew.
It's good to be at a position like this that I'm familiar with.
I know this crew will do their very best and honor the
traditions of Starfleet and the Federation with great pride.

"Computer begin log. Today was my first 24 hours of command.
I'm glad to report that the crew has accepted me as the new
captain, and has not tried to use past friendships to try to
take advantage and slack on their duties or what is expected of
them. I'm very proud of this crew and trust them with my life
and I'm sure they trust each other with there's. That's a
strong family type bond in which I'm honored to be part of.
Computer end log."
