Step Back In Time - (The Edwards)

Deck 2 - The Edwards Quarters
After moving into their new quarters and still adjusting to life
with a newborn, Brooke decided to take advantage of Caia Mae
having a nap before her next feed by relaxing on her and Jacob's
bed. She laid back against the pillows so she could still see
the baby in her crib and got as comfortable as possible without
nodding off herself. It was tempting to fall asleep but she
wanted to be awake so she could talk to her husband and see what
they had planned for their holodeck time which they needed after
so many changes lately not that she would change a single thing.

Deck 2 - The Edwards Quarters
Jacob walked into his quarters and toward the bedroom. He saw
Brooke relaxing on the bed and Caia Mae in her crib napping.
"[I]Hey honey. I'm home.[/I]" He whispered not wanting to wake
up his daughter.

Brooke looked up as her husband walked in and smiled as he
whispered to her "Hey Sweetie, I'm glad your home, little miss
finally decided to have her nap so thought to relax whilst I
could " she whispered back before moving quietly to the edge of
the bed so she could reach up and kiss him.

Jacob reached down and kissed Brooke. He looked over to Caia Mae
and gently kissed her forehead. He smiled seeing how pretty and
precious she was. He laid in bed next to Brooke and held her
hand.

Brooke enjoyed every second of the kiss and smiled as her
husband gently kissed their daughters forehead and it justelted
her heart seeing the bond between the two of them. Caia Mae had
enriched their lives already and she loved being a mother and
sharing new experiences with Jacob. When he then laid next to
her and held her hand she moved closer to him and wrapped her
leg over his feeling extremely content.

Her answer was easy and looked at her husband as she answered
him with a huge smile on her face " I'm loving every second of
it, it seemed like we waited forever for her to arrive and now
she's here its just perfect and seeing how you are with her just
melts my heart too " she replied honestly moving closer into his
embrace.
