"That is very true Lieutenant, Have you settle in to your
quarters yet?" he ask knowing that it could be hard at time to
get things back to noraml after a ship change.

My quarters serve me....
KnodwI was not a very big conversationalist. He has always
kept things short and to the point.

John nodded and replied "I am glad to hear that, how have you
been since that sickness?" he asked

Josh looked up at Lieutenant Ingram. "Thank you for joining us
Lieutenant. I know this is not what your used to, but I've read
your file and while in the academy you did very well for
operations study. There's really no difference, you'll learn
more as you go. I'm also sorry that this is short notice for
you, but our main operations officer needed some time off to
care for his new born and we aren't equipped with a nursery."

Charlotte smiled politely as she listened to Captain Shepard and
agreed that it wasn't what she was used too however was always
willing to learn and at least she would be able to finally use
those particular skills. She also understood with regards to her
predecessor as she had developed a friendship with both Edwards
and met their newborn daughter a couple of times. " Thank you
Captain, I look forward to learning more and serving aboard the
ship and no need to apologise I know the officer in question and
his wife".

As for now, I am well to preform my duties. I am cleared by
the CMO, but if there is any changes they want to know.
KnodwI stood up. Started to pace around the office. I was
starting to feel like he was under investigation for something.

T,orc exited his quarters and entered the turbolift. He pushed
the door chime for commander Harriman's office then waited for
permission to enter.

know them very well too. Take your station please, get familiar
with this ships configurations, we'll be having a meeting within
the hour."

Charlotte returned the smile and it was good to know that they
shared something in common and had heard nothing but good things
about him from the Edwards. " Yes Captain and understood" she
replied then turned around and walked the short distance to the
Ops station. Sitting down she immediately brought up the systems
she required and got to work so she could familiarize herself
with the ship.

John smiled at the news "That is great Lieutenant! I am co glad
to hear that. I have to have my second-in-command fit for duty
at all times. I look forward to working close with you." he said
as he heard the chime.

He looked at his XO then to the door and spoke. "Enter" and then
waited.
