Sickbay
The staff member that had helped the Klingon Lieutenant had
notified Reava that he seemed agitated. Of course he was a
Klingon but even the biobed revealed concerning levels yet as
they talked his levels dropped to normal. The boldness of how he
spoke admitting to having a 'thing' for a member of the medical
staff didn't alert Reava as to whom but the readings of his
blood pressure and such having dropped while she spoke with him,
she would have to be completely oblivious to not notice.
Now the trouble was how to react. During her Starfleet days and
since she had been so wrapped up in her career that things like
what she was faced with now had slipped past her, if they indeed
happened at all. So the ginger haired female was at a loss as
what to do or if anything should be done.
"Time is an interesting thing in that it's often said that there
isn't enough of it or that there isn't any of it concerning
certain situations. The virus that affected you took away some
time, time that was valuable in that you weren't able to perform
your duties. So while the time may not be appropriate for such
things as acting on feelings, it could also be the only time for
such a thing."
Reava completed the examination. "You're fit for duty as far as
I can tell but if you have any more dizzy spells please alert
me. I'm almost half tempted to go through with what had been
suggested back on the Atlantis by Dr Booth." Which was that the
Klingon be fitted with a neurocortical monitor.

[Bridge]
John nodded to the captain as he walked to his chair. John then
looked back down at his console to continue his scans but the
'problem' was bothing him. He would look into it later in his
office. John put the issue to the back of his mind and continued
to stand there waiting to leave dock.

Thank you doctor, for the clean bill. Just to interest you, I
do put on an exercise class in the gymnasium every week. You
are more than welcome to attend. If you want more of a work
out there is also a program on the Holodeck, that can really get
your blood pumping.
He climbed down off the bio-bed, then he straightened his
uniform back up.
I will be going now Doctor, speaking of a workout, I will be in
the Holodeck going through that workout. If you want to observe
you can or you can participate, it is your choice.
He was not going to push her into a quick choice. He moved
towards the doors to leave.

All Crew have now reported aboard the ship and whilst some have
already reported for duty, others are dealing with either
personal matters or getting settled into their new quarters
before starting their first duty shifts. Once the ship gets
underway there will be a senior staff meeting.

John sat in his office looking over all the paperwork in front
of him when the new duty roster caught his eye. He noticed that
there wasa new officer in his department and figured now was a
good time to meet him. He straighten his desk and tapped his
Conbadge.
=/\=Harriman to Lieutenant Shepard and Cadet T'orc, please
report to my office."=/\= he said as he began to read another
PADD.

KnodwI was just finishing his workout in the holodeck, when the
comm come through.

He left the holodeck, saving the program at the latest save
point in the workout.
He then proceeded to the Security Department Head's Office.

Reava's quarters
Reava had only been able to observe Lieutenant KnodwI's workout
for mere minutes before being summoned back to sickbay. The
matter hadn't been as urgent as what was believed by those who
summoned her. She assigned the medical crew some work while she
went to her quarters to unpack.
After unpacking the ginger haired female took some time to go
over the medical info of the crew and noticed a new crew member.

[Security Chief's Office]
John looked up at the man and nodded then motioned to one of the
two chiars in front of his desk. "Thank you for coming
Lieutenant, I wanted you to join me in welcoming our newest
officer. I know on most other ships only the DH would meet the
new officer but since he will be working with the two of us the
most I want him to meet us at the same tome so he can ask any
question he may have." he said hoping the cadet would get held
up so he and KnodwI could talk a bit as equals.

Deck 3 - Charlotte's Quarters
Charlotte was stood in front of the mirror adjusting the new pip
on her collar , it felt strange wearing gold when she had spent
so long wearing the familiar and comfortable teal but this was
just one of the changes she had made recently. Accepting a
promotion, a change of department and a place on a starship
hadn't been easy at first as it meant leaving her lab and more
importantly her beloved Patrick but after talking to him and a
lot of soul searching she agreed to take it although promised
that she would call him as much as she could and the thought of
seeing him again when she returned kept her going. Unknown to
him she had left a few sentimental items hidden in his quarters
so if he missed as much as she missed him he would least have
something of hers to remind him of her. After a final tug of her
tunic and smoothing her hair down she was ready to report for
her first duty shift and left her quarters for the nearest
turbolift.
Bridge
A short turbo lift ride later and the doors opened to reveal the
familiar sight of a Sovereign Class bridge, the type she had
served on before and walked out of the lift and down to the
command area. Coming to attention just in front of the command
chair she spoke clearly " Lieutenant Charlotte Ingram, reporting
for duty".
