Josh looked over at his first officer. "Commander assemble the
senior staff, i want a meeting in ten minutes. I'm be in the
observation lounge, you have the bridge." Josh stood up and
walked to his chair then stopped. "Have cadet T'orc report to
me as well. "

T'ORC exited his quarters & entered the turbolift. T'ORC exits
the turbolift goes to the observation room & enters. He sees
the Captain. You called for me Sir

Josh looked up and saw the new cadet enter. "Yes cadet. " He
noticed that the cadet was at full attention. "At ease cadet. "
Allowing him to relax his posture a little. "Your records from
the academy finally caught up to us and since you wasn't able to
recieve your full commission as an officer at the academy, which
i was told that nearly 68% of your class didn't but did recieve
it at their posting. I hereby promote you to the rank of
ensign. Congratulations Ensign T'orc." Josh got up from his
chair and removed the cadet rank from T'orcs shirt and attached
a single pip to it indicating that he is now an ensign, and
shakes his hand.
Josh walked back to his chair. "How are you adjusting to life
on board a starship cadet....." He paused for a moment. "Excuse
me, I mean ensign. "

[Bridge]
John turned and walked from his console to the Observation
Lounge and stepped in.
[Observation Lounge]
Upon entering the lounge John noticed the captain and cadet
T'orc speaking. He walked to a chair to the left of the
captain's and nodded to the CO and sat down and then noticed
that T'orc was now and ensign.

"Good I'm glad. Now since you've been promoted, I'm going to
give you a special reward. You'll be allowed to sit in on this
meeting. Just this once though, i like for all my officers to
know what is going on so they can relay the information to their
department. You will need to be silent though since commander
Harriman speaks for your Department. If i ask you a question
though then please answer."

KnodwI finished his duty shift Gamma Shift began. Then he
entered the observation lounge so he could listen in on the
meeting. He nodded to the Captain, and took his place by the
nearest exit. So he can exit just as the meting was over.
He had a workout reserved on the holodeck.
