Bridge - Ops
Charlotte felt a lot more comfortable now that she had
familiarized herself with the Valor's systems and even though
she hadn't physically met her team yet had spoken to them
through the comm and was happy enough with their performance as
all systems were green across the board and working at top
efficiency. However this was no time to rest or relax as she
received the alert regarding the Klingon cruiser that was in
close proximity to the ship and kept a close watch as she
monitored it not that she thought they would be in danger but
she was always prepared.

John nodded to the young man and started to dimiss him when he
was asked for by the captain. John got up and tapped his
Combadge as he headed to the Ready Room.

[Outside Ready Room]
John stepped onto the Bridge and made his way to the Ready Room
confused as to why he had been called, but he stopped at the
door and rang the chime.

Josh heard the chime to the door, he picked up a PADD that
contained the request for KnodwI officer exchange, with his
authorization. "Come in."

Josh looked at Harriman as he entered, he scrolled to a section
on the PADD that stated Harriman started the process. He then
placed it on the desk and slid it to him. "Do you care to
explain this commander? You entered Lieutenant Shepard's name
for the office exchange, without his consent, and without
advising me of such an action where i would be without one of my
officers. I'm not sure this was done to benefit him or what
other motives are behind this, but i want answers and i want
them now."

John picked up the PADD and read it over and listened to what
the Captain said then looked at the man and replied. "Captain
you have this all wrong, I have no prior knowledge about this
exchange for Lieutenant Shepard. I did recieve a communication
from Commander Smith from Starfleet Security sometime back
asking me for my opinion of Lieutenant Shepard as an officer.
The commander gave me no information as to why he was asking
about the lieutenant. But I told him what kind of officer he is
and afterword the transmission ended and I thought nothing more
of it. My only thought was maybe he was being looked at for a
promotion or somthing." he said honsetly and calmly. John
understood the captain's reaction because it is the same one he
had had when one of his officers was transfered without his
knowledge.

it. Unless it is an order to keep it quite from an Admiral. This
ship is a family, we all work and live together. If something
threatens it or tries to rip it apart then we have to identify
what it is and if possible try to stop it. Especially with the

for the Bridge.

John stepped onto the Bridge and mad his way to the main
Tactical Console and began to monitor the area.

Josh took a deep sigh and finally stood up. He walked towards
the door and stepped onto the bridge. "Commander signal the
Klingon vessel that we're about to depart, our destination is
the briar patch and we'll be traveling at warp 5."
Josh looked at ensign McQueen. "Ensign set course and wait for
my signal to engage at warp 5."
