Martok's expression changed..
Captain let me put it this way... Admiral Jeff Higdon and
Commander Jack Smith, head of Starfleet Security Exchange
program as well as high performance reviews from your Chief of
Security.. He was requested by me and Captain Worf.. So I do
not think that our treaty would be in violation of being throwed
out the window again.

"Chancellor with all due respect it is usually the individual
that makes such a request, then it has to be vetted through the
proper channels. Lieutenant Shepard is a fine officer and he
would be an outstanding officer to you and the empire and i will
ask him again if he wishes to take part in the program, but
Chancellor if he does not wish to do i will not force him. This
program is strictly voluntary, and since he did not put the
request in then I'm under no legal obligation to order him to
go." Josh then thought for a moment, then an idea hit him.

then looked at the screen once more. "Computer transfer
communication to the wall display." The communication vanished
from the computer on his desk and quickly appeared on the wall
screen. "I figure this way we both get the answers at the same
time that way there is no more confusion in this matter."

KnodwI heard the call from the captain.
Acknowledged..
He got an Ensign to take over the post while he went to the
Captain's Ready Room.
He went to the Captain's door and hit the call button.

Josh heard the chime on his door and know it was his brother.
"Come in." The doors opened and even though he wanted to greet
his brother line he normally does he pointed out to the monitor
on the wall. "Lieutenant I'm not sure if you've ever met
Chancellor Martok." Josh said as he extended his hand do they
could greet each other. "Lieutenant i brought you in here cause
i told you i would find out what is going on with this exchange,
apparently it was approved through the Starfleet head of
security and approved by their sectors commanding officer, but
it appears that this was initiated by Commander Harriman. Did
you ever express an interest in participating in the exchange
program, and did you give him permission to authorize you to
sign up, and since it has been approved without either of our
knowledge do you wish to participate in it at this time? "

"Cadet are there any questions you have for me about the ship or
department or for me in general?" he asked He just happened to

ship decloaked off the port side of the Valor. But was unsure
why they were there, the captain had not mentioned that they
were meeting with Klingons for their mission.

No Questions Sir!!! As T'ORC notice's a klingon ship decloked
on screen.

KnodwI entered the Captain's Ready Room to notice the Klingon
Chancellor on the screen.
Chancellor, it is a honor to meet you.
Chancellor Martok took this time to speak.
I am honored Lt. Shepard, but I have this problem on my hands..
You were to report to the Klingon Vessel before your were to
depart. Now I have a Commanding Officer looking for an officer
that did not report. Your Captain has mentioned that you did
not volunteer for this exchange program. Would you be willing
to do the exchange program with your people and maybe you can
learn from us and we from you?
KnodwI thought about it for a moment.
Chancellor, with all do respect. I did not ask for this
assignment. If I had mentioned it, then I would be very honored
to do this assignment. Since I did not given authorization to
put myself in the program, I will respectfully decline the offer
at this time, but I will be honored to do the program at a later
time.
Then he looked over to his Captain.
Permission to return to my post.

as his brother quickly walked out of the door. He turned his
attention to the Chancellor. "Sir I'm sorry that this did not
happen, but since he has expressed interest in the program i
have no doubt that he will take part in it when he feels he's
ready. I will personally offer my apologies to the captain of
the vessel that Lieutenant Shepard was assigned to, to show that
there was no disrespect intended."

Josh leaned back in his chair and let out a deep sigh of relief.
There was now just one more piece of business he has to deal
with. =^=Commander Harriman report to my ready room.=^=
