John had been deep in thought about the past six weeks and all
that had happened up to that point when he looked and noticed he
had almost ran into a younger redheaded JG. John looked at the
woman, who he recalled as the CMO of the Churchill, and smiled
as he took a small step back and replied. "Don't be sorry
Lieutenant, you did nothing wrong."

Jacob walked up to Brooke smiling as she held Caia Mae and
rocking her. He stood next to her and looked at Caia. "How is
she?" He asked. It's already been six weeks since Caia Mae was
brought into the world. She looked just liked her mother and
have her father's blue eyes. Fatherhood so far was a blast and
Jacob was looking forward to the years ahead with Brooke and his
new family.

Brooke smiled when she heard her husband's voice behind her and
turned to look at him " She's okay now that I've settled her,
something must of woke her up either that or she wanted to just
be held " She replied grinning slightly. Six weeks old and Caia
was already developing her own little personality and attitude
which had certainly entertained them. " I was thinking we go for
a walk along the promenade maybe grab a bite to eat ?".

"I chose him because i don't know him. I give everyone a
chance. Sometimes things work out, very rarely they don't.
Plus my former first officer has requested to remain at her
current assignment to help with her family. I'm not saying his
my second or last choice. I'm saying his my only choice."

Jacob looked at Caia Mae and stroked her little cheek. When
Brooke spoke about her plan for day, Jacob couldn't agree more.
They could go for a stretch and bring Caia with them so she can
be with her parents. He then replied to her "Yes. Sounds like a
plan to me. I'm hungry as it is." He chuckled and wrapped his
arm around Brooke.

Brooke couldn't help but smile as her husband stroked their
daughters cheek then wrapped his arm around her, she loved
moments like this and her smile soon turned into a grin at
Jacob's reply. " Brilliant and me too, I'll put little miss into
her stroller if you can grab her diaper bag" she replied
mentally checking off what they would need to take with them.

Patrick eyes narrowed as he looked at Joshua then turning he
walked back to his desk and picked up a PADD then looked back at
Joshua
"As you might now know currently 56 Planets have started the
process to leave the Federation including Andoria and Vulcun.
Starfleet wants to give them a reason to stay so that's were you
come in you are to explore the Brair Patch you are to find
elements and proof to how this virus was created and Terrioust
attacks you will be on your own with no support. Any Questions"

"I still can't belive the Vulcans are joining this." He let out
a sigh. "Myself and crew are used to going up against
overwhelming odds, we will not let you down sir. Do we have any
type of leads on who is responsible for this action?"

"On it." Jacob replied and went to their bedroom. He went and
grabbed the bag and put some new diapers and wipes for Caia Mae.
He exited the bedroom and walked to Brooke. "Got the bag. Ready
to head out when you are." He smiled seeing Caia Mae in her
stroller.
