Maura looked over as the man sat down next to her, mentioned the
XO and introduced himself, still feeling embarrassed by the
whole thing she managed a small smile as she held out her own
hand and shook his. "Pleased to meet you Christopher, my name's
Maura Stewart, Flight Control" she replied " I guess so, my own
fault for not checking up properly before I created this
programme but anyway, I don't want what happened to spoil
anything" she said quietly before spotting who she recognised as
the Security Chief walk over to them. " Hi Chief, pull up a
chair and join us".

John nodded to theyoung woman and sat down. "Hello I'm John
Harriman you can call me Commander or Chief if you wish. It is
nice to meet you all and I hae to say Ms. Stewart you did a
great job here." he said with a smile knowing she needed it
after the talk with the XO.

Maura blushed slightly when the Chief complimented her and after
hearing what him and Christopher had said made her feel less
embarrassed over what had happened. " Thank you Chief, I just
wanted to share one of my favourite places with everyone and I
hope you all enjoy it" she replied looking at those who had
gathered around the booth. She was beginning to relax again
although not too much and reached for her cocktail again and
took another long sip.

"Let me assure you it hasn't spoiled it at all so don't you
worry about that." He paused for a moment and then took a sip of
the synthetic scotch. "Just be glad your CMO isn't drinking
proper scotch and it's only synthetic." He joked, smiling at the
woman and them nodding at the man who sat down at the table with
them. "Christopher Willow, CMO. Its a pleasure to meet you."
With that Christopher's attention turned back to Maura. "Tell me
more about yourself Maura." He finished.

Yorkshire, before Starfleet I was a pilot on the Freighter Dark
Phoenix and then after I joined Starfleet I was a Starbase
shuttle pilot and now I'm here".

After the Ensign was dismissed John got himself an Ice Tea then
took a seat.
He then took his PADD and read it he was seated at the corner at
a table with no one around.

far, my life would seem boring compared to yours." Christopher
smiled and then downed the rest of the scotch in the glass, he
was glad it wasn't real otherwise he was sure he'd have a
headache in the morning.

" I suppose it has but never really thought of it that way"
Maura replied smiling back at him but didn't agree with what he
said next. " Well it might not be why don't you tell me all
about it?" she asked keen to know more about the Doctor after
all she had told him about her and enjoyed making new friends.
