A Day in Paradise - Open to all crew

Maura sat back and admired the view thinking that she had made
the right choice when it came to selecting a suitable holiday
programme for hopefully all of the crew to enjoy. Since coming
aboard she hadn't had much chance to get to know those who she
was now serving with and thought a trip to one of her favourite
Paradise planets would allow the crew to relax and get to know
one another. She had sent out invites to everyone and all she
could now was wait and see who showed up.

Holodeck 1.
After looking over her entire dress collection, which wasn't
many, Maria had finally decided on the first one the had looked
at and then made her way into the holodeck.
The area was beautiful and she could see why Maura would pick
suck a beautiful place. She was glad to be having a break from
work, and this place would certainly be a wonderful place to
relax and have fun.
After looking around the area, she then saw Maura and walked
over to her smiling.

Maura looked up shielding her eyes from the sun as Maria
approached and smiled at her, happy that someone had turned up "

"Call me Maria here Ensign." She said with a smile "This is
certainly a beautiful place." She paused and looked around the
area again "We should make a barbeque later on when we get more
relaxed." She finished, thinking about how much fun they could
all have in the holodeck. "Are there any real drinks on offer?"
She asked Maura.

Maura smiled again when Maria told her to call her by her first
name " I will Maria and please call me Maura " she replied "
Thank you this is a recreation of one of the paradise planets
that we used to visit with the Freighter I used be on" she said
and thought about Maria's suggestion of a barbecue " That sounds
good to me and yes there are real drinks, I think I covered

Maria smiled and then asked "Where are the drinks you speak of?"
She asked smiling once again. "I could do with something to ease
my thoughts of work and to help me to relax." She added as the
once again looked over the scenery.

"I know what you mean and the bar is just over here , we'll go
together and get something " Maura replied getting up from the
sun lounger " They do a mean Nebula cocktail that normally does
the job of relaxing you well after a couple anyway " Maura said
jokingly as she led the way to the beach bar.

"Sounds like a plan. I think I'll try a... Nebula cocktail while
we get to know each other a little better if you like?" Maria
said as they walked over to the bar.
She already liked Maura just by the fact she could think of a
drink that could help to calm the nerves. She looked forward to
getting to know Maura better.
A few steps later, Maria saw the bar, as well as some beautiful
sitting areas.
"Why don't we sit in that Booth there to talk?" Maria asked
Maura, hoping she agreed.

"It does, you'll like them and yes that sounds good " Maura
replied as they walked to the bar, she was always one to get on
well with people even more so with life aboard a Freighter but
since joining Starfleet she had wondered if that would change
but just speaking to Maria now made her realise that it hadn't.
When the reached the bar and the seating area, Maura smiled at
her suggestion " I'd like that " she said grabbing the attention
of a passing waiter and ordered two of the Nebula cocktails.

Holodeck One
John entered the Holodeck he was holding a PADD in his left hand
he was looking around seeing the sights he walked several meters
to the Bar he eyed it then took his PADD and began writing as he
throwned.
