"The Date" (Maria and B'Ozian)

Holodeck 2
With the way things had been with work at the moment the couple
had agreed they had not had enough time alone together in the
last few weeks and Maria had asked him to set up a date they
could both enjoy on the holodeck.
As he had an interest in archaeology and Maria was a doctor of
science, he had selected a program from Earth's history and now
was waiting for her in the holodeck as he sat under a tree
looking over at the place that would be there home while they
were in the holodeck.

Maria walked into the Holodeck to see B'Ozian standing by some
water with a beautiful view of a castle at the other side.
"Wow!" She said smiling as she approached her husband, then
continuing, "Where is this place?"
Walking into her husbands arms, she wrapped her arms around him
feeling comfortable, unlike she had done the last few weeks.

As he held her B'Ozian lifted her in his arms and held her
close. "This is Raby castle from England where the mother of
Richard the Third lived" His usual deep booming voice replaced
by the soft quiet purr like voice Maria had taught him to use.
"I thought it might be good to get away from all the technology
for a while" He lifted her once more and kissed her gently on
the forehead "Shall we walk around to the entrance"?. He lowered
her to the floor and offered her his arm.

"Lets." Maria said taking his arm. Looking over the lake and at
the Castle, Maria then asked B'Ozian. "Why don't we come back on
the grass a little later and have a picnic? Perhaps under the
tree over there. It looks like a beautiful spot." She then
pointed at the tree next to where Maria had first entered.

Looking down into her beautiful eyes and smiling as he replied
"Are you reading my mind"? He had thought exactly the same when
he saw the tree by the lakeside as from there not only could
they sit in the shade and look at the beautiful scene but also
see the wild animals roaming over the fields.
The walk around the castle was wonderful just for the fact that
they were spending time alone without being hailed or
interrupted by people asking them about things they shouldn't
need to ask.
"Maria, can you remember our first meeting in the grounds of the
Academy"? he asked curious to see if she remembered it like he
did.

"Of course I do silly... I even remember the human boys
sniggering at you... How could I forget you growling at them and
me shouting at them to back off?" She asked giggling.
Maria was glad that B'Ozian had agreed to the picnic and she was
also happy just being around her Husband without interruptions.
Plus she had questions she wanted to ask him later on.
