"Me too, I'm sure we'll get her back, then it will feel as
though we haven't left and I can imagine even though it hasn't
been that long since I was last in the Labs it's good to be back
despite the circumstances " She replied as she tackled the
fries, dipping a couple in ranch dressing before eating them.
When he then asked about her husband her smile grew brighter "He
seems to be liking it then again as long as he's in Engineering
he's happy".

Deck 12 - Section 21B
Dan could see that the Captain was concerned and to be fair, Dan
was concerned as well. He hadn't come across something like this
before. even during the Dominion War. "I will conduct a top
level analysis of all essential systems sir." and as he started
to clear up the turbolift, he heard the Captain say to keep this
between them, and Howell had to agree. "Aye Captain." He replied
with a nod, before turning back into the lift.

Bridge
John arrived back on the bridge, nothing had changed seemingly
at that point. "Lieutenant let me know if you hear anything from
the away team, I don't like sitting around here waiting."
Perhaps it was the Captain's still clear memories of the
Dominion War, the whole situation felt like an ambush waiting to
happen. "I'll be in the ready room."
Ready Room
Anderson moved directly to the back of the desk and took his
seat, his focus was on the photo of his wife and 2 children for
a moment. But duty called and it was high time that he spoke to
his newest crew additions.

Josh smiled a little more. At least someone is happy Josh
thought to himself. Josh couldn't be angry at anyone but
himself for choosing the course of action he did but he refused
to let people die right in front of him because of it. "That's
good, I'm glad you both are taking this new assignment well. I
just wish the outcome was slightly different."

As they both ate their lunch they heard the call from the
captain. =^=Acknowledged sir, we're on our way.=^= Josh wiped
his mouth with the napkin. "Well guess our duty starts a little
early. " Josh stood up and grabbed his tray and emptied the
contents into the trash. He stood by the door and waited for
Brooke to join him.

I do too but once a family always a family and we'll always
stick by you " she said quietly as she walked out into the
corridor. Life would go on as normal or as normal as it could be
for them and had every hope that they would get the Atlantis
back but for now would make the most of their time on the
Churchill and did feel a little nervous about meeting their new
Captain.

slightly quicker than the Atlantis." Josh said with a smile on
his face. "Bridge" the turbo lift then proceeded to the bridge.
It arrived and it's doors opened. The bridge of the Churchill
was slightly bigger than the Atlantis he looked over at his new
posting for the helm. "In a way i can't wait to see what she
can do with me at the controls. " He said in a slight whisper.
They reached the door to the ready room. He took a deep breath
and pushed the button for the chime and then waited for the
captain to acknowledge them.

Brooke had to admit she was impressed with the ship so far
especially when they stepped out and she looked around the
Bridge before following Josh to the Ready Room. It was natural
for her to miss her old ship but could see the Churchill
becoming almost like home too and couldn't help but smile when
Josh whispered to her. "I know what you mean I'm looking forward
to testing out the labs properly" she whispered back as they
waited to be called in.

John sat for a few minutes waiting patiently, then the chime
sounded indicating someone required entry.
Sitting back in his chair and folding his hands together over
his abdomen, the Captain called. "Enter."

Josh stepped closer to the door and it opened. He walked in and
right up to the desk and stood at attention. He saw Brooke
standing next to him on his left. "Sir Lieutenant Edwards and
Commander Shepard reporting as ordered sir." Josh said as he
didn't look right at the captain but the bulk head behind him.
Same thing he done when addressing any superior officer until
told to stand at ease.

Anderson offered the two officers a flat smile and a slight nod.
He maintained a cool and calm composure, the conversation ahead
was not going to be fun, but it was a necessity.
"Please come in and both have a seat." He said gesturing to the
vacant chairs opposite side of the desk from his own.
