Bridge.
Maria finished off looking at the scan results and then stood up
when B'Ozian had looked over.
After B'Ozian bowed his head and she received its message, she
then walked to the Turbolift.
Science Lab.
Before going to the Shuttlebay, Maria quickly went to the
Science Lab to pick up some equipment and she hoped thatshe
would get there before the five minutes was up.
Shuttle.
After her second short journey in the Turbolift, she walked into
the Shuttle and nodded at the XO and then took a seat in the
back of the Shuttle.

John was feeling some impatience at sitting around and not being
able to do anything, no doubt that was part of being a Captain.
"Lieutenant B'Ozian send a flight path to the shuttle, no doubt
it should be in pre-flight by now." Anderson said standing and
moving to the left of the ops console. "I don't like hanging
around here Lieutenant, call me paranoid if you like, but I feel
like something is going to pounce on us." It was probably echoes
of the past haunting the Captain, but the feeling was strong and
reminded him of the Dominion War.

B'Ozian had reserved judgement on his CO until that moment and
now had an idea that they would work well together "Yes Sir, I
have a bad feeling too Captain, but that may just be because I
am not on the away team" His hands ran over the console as he
sent the flight path to the shuttle. "Apologies if I speak out
of term here sir, but I have concerns regarding the shuttle's
safety on this mission, not only will they be flying blind I
will have no way to beam them out in an emergency".
He looked down to the console as it beeped and shook his head as
he checked the alert, "Sir i am detecting a new ship on long
range sensors, it appears to be a Federation signature ".

John was no fool, he knew the power of love was strong no matter
what the species. If it had been Abigail on the shuttle, then he
too would have been nervous. "It's alright Lieutenant I
understand completely and I don't like the thought of them only
having the shuttle as a way out." Before the conversation could
go any further, the Caitian officer reported a second ship in
the area. Anderson looked perplexed for a moment. "As far as I
am aware we should be the only ship out here, can you get an
identification on her?"

Shuttle Galileo
Maura finished the pre flight checks as two more of the away
team arrived and a few seconds later an alert sounded notifying
her of the Flight Path sent by Ops. She sent back an
acknowledgement and programmed the course into the navigation
systems before turning towards the XO " Pre flight complete
Commander, we've also received the flight path from Ops and I've
laid in the course ready for departure".

Nodding as he worked B'Ozian ran his hands over the console and
brought up the sensor details "Captain from the details we have
it appears to be a Defiant Class ship, NCC-78101 USS Washington,
under the command of Captain Hugo Martinez" After a few seconds
working over the logs he suddenly paused "Sir this ship is
assigned to Diplomatic Security" He raised an eyebrow towards
Anderson, knowing the man's service record he was sure John
would know what that normally really meant.

Engineer did'nt arrive he sighed.

"Aye Commander " Maura replied bringing the engines online
before moving the shuttle forward as the doors began to open. A
few minutes later they were clear and out into open space. "
We're clear Commander, course laid in for the asteroid field
taking us in on full impulse".

Bridge
"Diplomatic security?" John said as an impulse more than a
question. Anderson came around to the opposite of the console
from B'Ozian, he leaned closer to the officer and asked. "Are
they heading towards us Lieutenant and are they transmitting any
hailing frequencies?"
While waiting for B'Ozian to answer, the Captain looked towards
the helmsman, but before he could make any enquiries a call came
in from the XO.

John looked back to the ops console and tapped the ship
communications panel.

On that the Captain cancelled the signal and shut off the
communications with the shuttle.

CMO's Office
Christopher put his hand onto the PADD in front of him and took
a moment to read the list of patients currently admitted to the
sickbay. He sighed, placing the PADD onto the table and then
scratched the scar on the side of his head, thinking back to the
three months of his life he had spent asleep as it were. "Why on
earth I chose to specialise in counselling and medicine, I'll
never know." He said to himself, thinking that his sister would
be more suited to medicine than OPS, which she had specialised
in.
Christopher took a moment to think of the parents he and his
sister left behind at the same time. Being twins, both of them
left around the same time and became starfleet members, their
parents were left behind with no one for company and Christopher
couldn't help but feel bad for them. He knew they would
understand his situation, he couldn't possibly pick up and leave
now, he still had work to do.
Christopher had been made aware that the medical staff were
fairly new at their jobs, a lot of the medical officers were
newly assigned, straight out of the box. He sighed slightly at
that thought as he wasn't that experienced in medicine himself,
he took the position because he was offered it and he hoped he
could learn more about medicine than he already knew.
Christopher was aware that he'd most likely have to teach
himself medicine methods after hearing the news.
The command of the newly christened ship seemed to be
interesting, Christopher thought. After looking at both of their
files he's aware that they were both members of the ATD, he was
sure their methods of keeping the ship in line would be
interesting, he thought. Upon hearing the news that a shuttle
had been sent out, he was a little confused at the fact that no
medical personnel was sent with them to ensure the safety of the
away team, he couldn't help but frown and be slightly concerned
at this point and he was sure to bring that up in his first
departmental briefing he would be involved in, something he
wasn't particularly looking forward to.
Given the fact that medical was quiet at the moment and not many
people had been admitted to sickbay, Christopher stood up and
placed a medikit on the table, he opened it and gently placed
the contents onto the table, he was familiar with all of this
equipment but he knew there was always room for improvement,
hence why he had got the equipment out.
First off he picked up the medical tricorder, he knew how this
worked, the device would scan the patient, check out all of its
major organs and then would give a diagnosis depending on what
it found wrong, if anything at all. "Right. Next the hypo
spray..."
