"Uhm..." John swallowed and took a breath, after taking a brief
look back the ready room door he added. "I hope so Lieutenant."
Looking back to the Caitian officer. "Our new Science officer is
having some...painful discomfort." The Captain raised a hand to
serve two purposes, one was to end the conversation on that
topic and it was making the Captain feel uncomfortable. Besides
he didn't know if he was breaching any kind of confidentiality.
Moving to the front of the command chair, John sat himself down
and looked towards the viewer. "Are we certain that the away
team can communicate with us, judging by the magnetic forces?"

"We are unable to verify sir" the words just passed his lips
when the comm crackled and John Brown's voice rang out or at
least it did between the static.

B'Ozian immediately dropped into his seat at ops and began
trying to clear up the distortion and boost the signal "Sir, The
interference is getting stronger out here " he announced as he
worked the controls of the comms system.

John nodded as he and Mrs. Dyson headed toward the other section
of the freighter. He looked around as they walked and then
looked over to the CSO and spoke. "Getting any reading on the
area?" he asked as they walked.

Benzite Freighter
"Yes Commander " Maura replied as the XO made contact with the
ship although she still felt unnerved about the sound they had
heard and how quiet and eerie it seemed to be as they continued
walking. Turning around when she thought she heard something
behind them she realised that Commander Harriman and Lieutenant
Dyson were no longer with them she assumed that they had spilt
up already and had gone to another part of the Freighter.

Josh looked over at the doctor. "Please take care of her, I'm
due on the bridge. " he looked down at Brooke. "I'll get a hold
of Jacob and have him join you as soon as possible. You're
gonna be just fine." He let go of Brooke's hand as another
medical person arrived. He stepped out of the ready room and
walked over towards the helm. "I relieve you ensign. " Josh
then sat down and took the controls. He checked their status and
then waited for any orders from the captain.

Reava nodded in the Captain's direction as she was quite busy
with Mrs. Edwards.

Captain's Ready Room
"Don't worry, I will." It felt a little odd calling her former
Captain by his new title but at least she recalled what it was.
In fact before learning any new medical facts she memorized the
new ranks.
Looking at Brooke she had the other medical personnel come over,
"Lieutenant I want to take you to sickbay, the other personnel
and myself are going to get you on the anti-grav lift. But if
you're still in a lot of pain I can give you something that
won't hurt the baby."

Brooke managed a weak smile as Josh spoke and let go of her hand
before leaving for the Bridge, she was still in a lot of pain at
that point but had least managed to control her breathing and
wasn't panicking as much. When the CMO then spoke to her she
looked up " Okay Doctor " she replied then thought about the
pain relief that she had offered as long as it didn't hurt the
baby then she would take it " Yes that would be good all I want
is for her to be okay and for me to get back to normal ".

Captain's Ready Room
With the Lieutenant's okay the other medical personnel closed in
and helped the pregnant woman onto the anti-grav lift. Once
Brooke was secured Reava pulled out from her medical kit an
analgesic that would be not harmful to the unborn child or to
Brooke as Reava had made sure to read over information regarding
allergies. "The dosage will be small but it will hopefully be
enough." Reava said as she then pressed the hypospray against
Brooke's neck.
Once the medicine was administered Reava and the other medical
personnel would exit the Captain's ready room and head into the
lift then finally make it back to Sickbay.
Sickbay
Once the group arrived in sickbay Brooke was, carefully,
transferred to a bed. Reava immediately began focusing on the
unborn child to see if everything was alright then move on to
Brooke.

The small dose of analgesic that Reava had given her was enough
to dull the pain making it more bearable to cope with as she was
moved to Sickbay. She knew that she was in the right place to be
looked after and find out what had caused such horrible pain but
it did find it a little ironic that she wasn't the first Edwards
to be in Sickbay lately as her husband had been admitted to
Sickbay just before they lost the Atlantis. She remained still
and relaxed as the CMO continued however her unborn daughter was
still her main focus " How is she ? " she asked her voice full
of concern.
