       Character Bio:
       Early life
       Katelyn Marie Carter was born on Earth in Spokane, Washington to
       Thomas and Claire Carter; blue collar workers. She has a younger
       brother by two years. She grew up on acreage north of the
       state's eastern most metropolitan city in a rural area where the
       family had farm animals. “KT” and/or “Kate” was known to be
       smart, considerate, peppy, and athletic growing up. She also had
       an affinity for helping others. Katelyn joined her father, who
       volunteered at the local fire/ambulance service. She got an
       EMT-B certification and worked as a medic on the ambulance while
       he was a firefighter.
       The blonde pixie's big dream was to become a doctor. But after
       her father died in an accident, the Carter family couldn't
       afford to send her to civilian college. With little options if
       she still wanted a medical career, Katelyn applied to the
       Starfleet Academy where the budding young physician later
       attended Starfleet Medical School with a subsequent residency in
       emergency medicine/critical care.
       Present
       Dr. Errikkson (recently married to Jurgen Errikkson, a fellow
       Starfleet officer) presently serves with the 8th Fleet, and is
       awaiting her new assignment.
