Main Shuttlebay
Maura had finished manually resetting the bio filters on the
first shuttle and even though it wasn't the best task that she
had been given had accepted her punishment for not going
straight to the Bridge when she came aboard and found it was a
good way to let go of some of the frustration she had felt. She
closed the hatch and moved to the next shuttle trying not to
think of how many she still had to do.

Bridge
John sat in the command chair, his posture was still
uncomfortable, the new seat was taking some getting use to.
Sitting with his elbow leaning on the left chair arm, Anderson
had his index finger over his lips. He still wasn't happy about
the situation the ship was in, but it was a case of needs must
and he had to go along with that. The patrol although it had
been short to that point was mundane and not appealing to the
Captain at all. Of course it made him think about choices he'd
made and how his life had changed since the war. The main things
on his mind was his divorce and how he'd roped his good friend
John Brown back to duty for seemingly nothing.

Bridge - Ops
Jasmine was sat at her post, looking at the continuing
information flow over the screen.
After a while of no unusual results within the surrounding area,
she noticed some unusual reports. After rescanning the area,
Jasmine turned to the Command Chair and said "Sir, I'm getting
strange reports from within the asteroid field... There's some
sort of metallic mass."
Although metal within asteroid fields wasn't unusual, but in one
big cluster, that was strange.

John's attention snapped across to Lieutenant Rey, on that he
was out of the chair and across to the ops station. Coming to
stand on the left side of the ops console, he smiled at the
Lieutenant. He knew that asteroid belts had metallic traces and
he had absolutely no doubt Jasmine knew the same. In the short
time he'd known her, she'd never spoke about anything
irrelevant. So the fact that she'd brought the metallic mass to
his intention meant that it was odd in some way.
"Report Lieutenant." He ordered.

Jasmine watched as the Captain walked over and then after he
spoke, she turned back to the console and tapped on the screen.
"It looks like some sort of structure... A ship something
maybe... We'd need to get to get a better reading, but there's a
slim chance it could be nothing I suppose." She paused and then
finished "There's too much sensor distortion."

John looked towards the viewer and the rock formation along the
left side of the screen. His mind went back to the meeting,
where Patrick had mentioned undesirables taking advantage. "Very
well Lieutenant." He began looking back to Jasmine. "Send the
coordinates to the helm and we'll go and have a look." He looked
away from the Lieutenant and towards the duty helm officer.
"Helm once you have the coordinates, take us there at full
impulse but do not enter the asteroid field."

"Yes Sir." Jasmine said as she sent the coordinates to the helm.
After sending them, she went back to watching the information
going onto the screen.

John Brown's Quarters
John sat in the semi Dark Room looking at the two objects on his
desk and the Picture sitting there he took a breath thinking of
the last twenty four hours he sent a report to the Captian and
First Officer about that Flight Control Ensign he recommended
that she should be removed from the Ship and sent to Earth for
retraining if not she should be removed from Bridge Duty and
assigned to Shuttle Bay control until she learns proper decorum.
"It be fun you said the tast of adventure; I should have whent
to Omega IV" Finished John as he looked at the golden liquid in
the glass his very being wanted to take it to his lips and let
the warmth feel his body but he knew he couldn't just stop at
just one.
"You will be my reminder" John said as he picked up the glass
and poured it out as he stood up and put on a pressed clean
uniform he headed for the Bridge.
Bridge
John entry to the Bridge was slient he sliped into his postion
without a sound he pulled up the duty reports from the previous
shift to update himself of what he missed during his rack time.

"Yes Captain" Maura replied looking over the display as the helm
received the co ordinates from Ops " Co ordinates received and
course laid in E.T.A to the edge of the Asteroid Field ten
minutes " Maura added moving her hands quickly over the console
as she relayed the information and set the controls taking the
ship to its new destination on full impulse as requested. After
the events of the last twenty four hours Maura had kept to
herself still feeling ashamed over what had happened over a
simple mistake on her part that in the end had made her question
herself and whether she was really cut out for life in
Starfleet. However after speaking to her brother once she had
finally finished in the Shuttlebay she realised that she was and
vowed never to show herself up like that again and from now on
would do everything she could not to make any more mistakes.
