       Bio:
       Growing up just outside San Fransico, Grant Carter came up know
       he always wanted to be in Star Fleet. Shortly before the
       Dominion War began his wife, and child's mother died of unknown
       causes throwing him into a bout of destructive depression, once
       the war began he charged straight to the front lines and left
       his son James in the care of his ex-wife's parents.
       After the war was over however he went back to Earth to take his
       son before enrolling in Star Fleet academy.
