"Yes Captain" Brooke replied before Captain Shepard left for the
Ready Room and watched as Commander Tekin also left, turning to
face their helms officer " Ensign McQueen welcome back please
take your station and liaise with the Starbase ready for
departure " she said then noticed another officer arrive on the
Bridge and ask where the Captain was. Brooke recognised the teal
shirted officer as their new Acting CMO " Ensign, the Captain is
in a meeting with our Chief Science Officer is there anything I
can help with?".

Josh smiled when Tekin entered. "Yes commander please sit down.
I just wanted to take this time to welcome you aboard. Captain
Brown speaks very highly of you. I'm sorry that you're not my
first officer but this posting is only temporary, and i feel
that with your great knowledge of science you'd best serve this
ship in the capacity. Plots with Commander Edwards just becoming
a full commander i trust you'll help her out of needed. I know
you'll do just fine and remember this is only temporary I'm sure
the Endeavour will be back up shortly, or maybe even another
ship." Josh leaned back in his chair. "Do you have any
questions or concerns for me. I do this work all my senior
staff, it helps build trust and friendship to those you serve
with."

Looking over she nodded to the First officer respectfully. "I
was hoping to have a word with the Captain, ma'm. I wanted to
make a proper introduction as I was busy treating two patients
and wanted to inform him of how Lieutenant KnodwI is doing."
The knowledge that the Captain was busy did not deter her though
as she was determined to see him as soon as she possibly could,
preferably before she received word from Ensign Shannon that
Sickbay was ready for the departure. "With permission, ma'm, I'd
like to stay here until the Captain is available."

Brooke listened as the Doctor made her request and understood
why she wanted to speak to the Captain especially before they
departed for Andoria. " Permission granted Doctor, you can join
me over here and sit in the counsellors seat until the Captain
returns" Brooke replied with a smile then turned towards
Tactical " Lieutenant, liaise with Lieutenant Harriman once your
station is ready for departure, I want us to be prepared for all
scenarios once we reach Andoria".

Jackson smiled as he reached his station and began speaking with
all of the nessecary personnel to clear their departure after a
few moments he turned to face the commander.
"Commander Edwards it seems we have the green light and are
cleared for departure." he said feeling his anticipation boiling
over as excitement. "We just need confirmation from another few
stations around the ship and the final confirmation from Captain
Shepard." he added trying to reign in his excitement.

Brooke looked over to the helm when Ensign McQueen made his
report and smiled back noting his enthusiasm and couldn't blame
him for wanting to be back out in the stars. It's where they all
truly belonged and despite their mission and the potential
dangers they faced, nothing would spoil the moment they left
Spacedock. " Thankyou Ensign, once we're cleared from Spacedock,
set a course to Andoria, Warp 5" Brooke replied then opened a
channel on her control panel =/\= Commander Edwards, to all
departments those who haven't reported in as ready please

Nine Lives - Deck 10
Ensign Oskin Alexander perked up from reading as the ship-wide
announcement hinted at imminent departure. Indeed, many of those
who had gathered at the ship lounge rose from their seats and
officers and crewmen either lef together or said their goodbyes
for the day to meet back later.
The duty roster had indicated Ensign Jakx Forrester to man the
operations station on the bridge and for Ensign Oskin Alexander
to relieve him two hours into their journey. A staggered shift
rotation meant that at any given time, there were officers and
crewmen present who were familiar with the situation and
occurrences of the previous shift. This way, no entirely fresh,
and at the same time clueless, shift would man the ship.
Two hours, left ample time for breakfast and more raktajino...

Jacob turned and saw the young engineer stood by and walked up
to him. He then greeted him "Hello Ensign. You must be my newest
engineer. Lieutenant Commander Jacob Edwards. Chief Engineer."
He held his hand out to shake his.

Jacob took Kelvan's hand and shook it. He released his hand and
said "Welcome aboard Ensign. Right now, we just finished getting
the ship ready for departure. Soon as we are underway, I shall
give you a introduction to the engineering team."
He walked over and tapped a comm button on a console and spoke
to the Bridge. =/\= Engineering to Bridge. All systems are in
normal parameters down here. We're ready to head out when you
are.=/\=
