Jackson watched the events unfold and was shocked by the idea of
attacking Andoria and the surrounding space with any sort of
bio-weapon. Jackson was already coming out of warp to turn the
ship around when the captain gave the order and once she had
turned the young Ensign jumped to warp 7 before turning to face
the captain.
"Captain Shepard please forgive me for saying but something
seems wrong and turning back almost seems like were giving up on
Andoria." he said looking up to the captain. "I don't mean to be
rude but having never worked with Captain Roberts I can't say
for sure but I'm getting a strange vibe from them like they're
not giving us the full story." he added hoping the backlash
wouldn't be too severe.

Josh nodded his head in agreement. "I agree with you ensign. I
don't like being left in the dark either, but i will check on
this situation when we arrive back at the starbase. We'll get
to the bottom of this, and we're not giving up on Andoria, but
i will not endanger the crew if this is a bio attack. There
could be a connection to the Andorians and what's been happening
to our crew."
Josh then noticed Brooke walk back on to the bridge. "We've
been called back to starbase 378. Andoria is under medical
quarantine by order of Starfleet Medical. I'm just wondering how
long it's been under quarantine for and why we was assigned this
mission. How's ensign Kelvan?"

Brooke didn't know what to say at first as Captain Shepard
informed her of the sudden change in orders and the news that
Andoria had been put under quarantine. It was certainly strange
but no doubt they would hopefully find out more when they
returned to the Starbase. " It's definitely a cause for concern
perhaps there's been a breakdown in communication somewhere or
the situation changed rapidly before they could let us know "
Brooke suggested " I'm sure all will become clear at least I
hope so and as for Ensign Kelvan, he's been taken to Sickbay I'm
not sure if its directly related to what happened to Lieutenant
Shepard yet but its something I would like Science maybe Ops as
well to look into on our journey back".

give them our status and maybe then can search into this deeper,
maybe it's a connection."

Mess Hall
Ryan had his head in the clouds over the situation in
Engineering, he was proverbially kicking himself for his
response to the Doctor. What sort of a response was anytime?
Probably the stupidest one ever. After grabbing a coffee double
sweet, Baker made his way to an empty table and sat facing a
viewport. He'd noticed the drop from warp and course alteration.
It caused a raised eyebrow, but it was of no real interest to
the Ensign. Not much did interest Baker at that point in his
life, so why was he allowing the exchange in Engineering occupy
his thoughts and not the collapsing of Ensign Kelvan. His
imagination was beginning to play with him, he imagined the
Doctor raising her eyebrows at his stupid words and therefore
thinking he was a complete Clown.
"Way to go Ryan." He said taking a sip of his coffee.

"Good idea Captain, if there is a connection it would help us to
explain what's happened and treat them accordingly " Brooke
replied looking back over. Her scientific mind was ticking over
already and had faith in their Science and Ops teams to
hopefully get to the bottom of this. " Perhaps now would be a
good time to speak to Ensign Simonova" she added aware that they
needed all the help they could and knew the Ensign had an Ops
background.

he and Kelvan was close and i want him to get checked out as
well."

"I'll inform him straightaway Captain" Brooke replied accessing
the panel on her chair to send a message to Ensign Oskin asking
him to report to Sickbay. She then tapped her commbadge =/\=
Commander Edwards to Ensign Simonova please report to the
Observation Lounge =/\= As she waited for an acknowledgement she
got up from her chair and walked over to the Science Station "
Commander Tekin I would like you to join me and Ensign Simonova
in the Observation Lounge".

Jackson nodded to the Captain before turning back to his
station. He felt much better knowing that the captain felt the
same way he did about the situation with Andoria. Monitoring the
systems he made sure he was in full control and continued the
flight path toward the Starbase. Even though they seemed to be
performing a tactical retreat the young Ensign couldn't shake
the feeling that something was wrong. Hold tight Andoria I'm
sure Captain Shepard and the Atlantis crew won't let you down.
he thought as the rocketed through space.

Nevi had been spending his time half listening, and half
activating a passive scan of the system, using some old tricks
he had learned to mask the scan itself. Whoever set up the
quarantine zone, however, was good, and he wasn't finding
anything... at least not yet. That's when he noted a body near
him, and there was the XO.
"Aye ma'am," he replied, closing the console and stepping from
his chair. It was a decently short trip to the Observation
room.
He stood motionless, waiting for the Ensign to join him.
