" Actually there is Captain I'm slightly concerned about the Ops
department, I'm hoping that today was just a blip with me having
to bring in Ensign Oskin early perhaps its something we may need
to keep a close eye on " She replied voicing her concern
quietly. It wasn't something she took lightly but it was better
said out loud rather than keep quiet especially when it
concerned the welfare of the crew. On the whole all departments
were running well but with the nature of their mission didn't
want anything jeopardising it.

Josh thought for a moment. "If our officers are unable to take
their posts then they will be disciplined with dereliction of
duty, failure to report for duty. If it becomes a serious
problem then we could ask commander Edwards to see if they have
an officer they can spare. We can then keep him or her on loan
until we can find a stable replacement."

"Agreed Captain, perhaps after the staff meeting we can make
Commander Edwards aware of the situation and I'm sure he will
have no issue loaning us one of his team should the need arise
but in the meantime I will keep a tight reign on the rosters "
she replied. Brooke didn't want to discipline anyone but this
was a serious matter and if it continued then she would speak to
those who may be causing the issue to find out why.

to to make sure the ship runs smoothly." Josh tapped a button on
his chair and brought up a display screen that shows all the
departments. Everyone is in the green and the ship is fully
functional. He then pulled out his PADD and began reading the
information they have about what has happened. It's not much to
go on but from what is in the report they grew "unhappy" with
the Federation. Josh thought for a moment. "Could this be a
dominion attempt to rebuild their forces? There's no evidence
to point to that but he didn't want to rule it out.

"Thank you Captain" Brooke replied returning the smile before he
went back to the PADD, with everything running smoothly and the
impending staff meeting Brooke returned to her own control panel
on the arm of her chair. She brought up the rosters again this
time highlighting what she had brought up with the Captain and
moved it into her personal files where she could keep a record
of what had been happening.

Bridge
Ensign Oskin Alexander was considering some simultaneous
requests for sensor access from various Science labs when his
train of thought was interrupter by loose words that floated
around the bridge and caught his attention.

At first, the half-Bajoran, half-Human officer figured that his
acknowledgement was sought after and he had half turned sideways
to look in the direction of where the words at come from. He was
about to ask out loud whether he had missed something but he was
unsure; no one seemed to meet his inquiring glance. The Captain
and the First Officer were speaking amongst themselves. He
picked up something about the Dominion. The Security officer at
Tactical was clearly mind his own business, as were the two
officers -Lieutenant junior grade Jenaren-Benyu being one of
them- working on the consoles in the back. Ensign McQueen surely
had not addressed him, that would have been evident.
Alexander shook it off and turned back to his console. Was
caffeine hallucinogenic? He did not rightly know. Besides... he
had drunk only two cups of strong raktajino. Surely he had
consumed vast multitudes of such a dose during studying binges
at Starfleet Academy.
A few counts longer he considered the matter, until he finally
shrugged and returned his focus to the allocation of sensor
access.

Craig entered and then looking at the SCO he poped to attention
and stated his name and rank "LTJG Craig McGrory reporting for
duty. I have been transfered to the Atlantis as per the Admirals
request." Craig finished by placing his hand out with the orders
on his PADD and waited for his new superior to look them over.

[Security Chief's Office]
John nodded to the man and took the PADD and looked it over be
for he sat back down. He motioned to the chairs before him and
spoke.
"Nice to meet you McGrory, looks like we will learn the ship and
crew together. I am making you acting assistant chief of
security and tactical until Lieutenant Shepard is fit for duty.
I prefer to be on the Bridge but there was a medical mishap when
I came onboard that rendered me restricted for a bit but, I am
up to par and ready to return to full duty. That said for now
you will always be incharge of the shift after me until Shepard
is well. We will have personal training once a week more of you
like, we will pratice with all Starfleet weapons and all other
Federation and non-federation weapons. We will also fence from
time to time and I like to run a simulation from time to time to
keep us sharp. I may be the DH but I am also your crewmate so do
not feel bound by rank when we are off duty the only way we can
work well as a team is to be friends out of uniform and in." he
said as he looked at the younger man.

Turbolift
Reava heard the Captain but due to the turbolift closing she was
unable to respond, in fact she didn't even have a moment to open
her mouth and considering that the Captain was human she
couldn't speak telepathically to him either. The turbolift doors
reopened and stepping out the ginger haired female made her way
back to sickbay when she heard an announcement.

Hallway
Two hours wasn't a lot of time but it would be enough for Reava
to focus her mind on the Lieutenant. Given all that had gone on
even before the Atlantis and her crew ventured off into space to
Andoria Reava hadn't had the chance to venture any further than
the fact that the Lieutenant didn't have a parasite.
Sickbay to Doctor's Office
Entering into the sickbay she entered into her office and looked
through the PADD that she had left on her desk. This particular
one was used for medical purposes only so as to keep track
better than if she placed everything on it. She varied between
the PADD and the computer screen and sighed. Setting the PADD
down Reava closed her eyes and focused her mind on the
Lieutenant's health, his species, his background.

Five Minutes Before Senior Staff Briefing
The last couple of hours have been uneventful for the crew of
the Atlantis but now it is time for the Senior Staff to be
briefed about the ship's mission to Andoria and what their plan
of action will be.
