Alexander glanced from the Commander towards the back of Ensign
Murray's head at the Operations station on the left side in
front of the main viewer.
"No problem at all, Commander," replied the Ensign as he faced
the First Officer again. And really it was not. All Alexander
had been doing, was reading a book in anticipation of his duty
shift. Whether it started now or in two hours, made no
difference to him. He nodded at Commander Brooke as he stepped
over to his colleague and tagged him out.
At his first touch of the console, the system recognised the
different user and automatically opened a screen to list up
need-to-know information for a new mind manning the Operations
station. As he scrolled through the summaries of running and
pending tasks, Murray lingered a little over his shoulder to
indicate a number of items that necessitated a particular
follow-up or had priorities slighly different than indicated by
computer. After a few moments, both concluded their brief change
of shift conference and Murray stepped off of the bridge.

"Thank you Ensign " she replied with a smile and watched as he
took over from Ensign Murray. Now that most of the shift
rotations had taken place. she knew that the crew would be as
efficient as ever and those who rested would be in top form when
it came time for them to start their real mission. All that was
left to deal with would be the senior staff meeting so that they
would be equally as prepared for what happened next.
"Doctor on a personal note, please do all
you can for him. Let him know that i will come to see him as
soon as i can, and one more thing. Welcome aboard doctor, i
now the would not have made you ain't CMO if you wasn't
qualified." Josh stood in front of her and shook her hand.
"Please return to your duties." Josh then walked towards the
door and waited for Reava to walk out before he did.
There was no need for the personal note as Reava was going to do
all she could for the Lieutenant but nodded instead of
contradicting the Captain for she knew he was concerned and not
just because of her abilities but due to the way he expressed
himself. "Of course Captain. I'm happy to be here sir and thank
you." She'd do her best to not disappoint anyone, least of all
the Captain.
Shaking his hand in return she nodded when he asked her to
return to her duties. The ginger haired female still had a
patient that needed her attention and the Captain had the whole
ship to take care of. Walking out, nodding to the Captain and
giving him a light smile to try and assure him that his brother
was in good hands, Reava headed back to Sick Bay.

Craig looked at his readings after going into warp and having
not changed beyond normal fluctuations he walked to the
turbolift and ordered the level that Lieutenant Harriman's
office was on. Approaching the door Craig got out his transfer
paperwork once again and then knocked on the door.

Bridge
Most maintenance tasks and upgrades that had been performed in
spacedock had been accomplished to a satisfactory degree.
Only one of the replaced lateral sensor pallets, one of over one
hundred along the outer hull, had to be taken offline because
its readings were incongruent with readings reported by other
sensor pallets. Since USS Atlantis had moved out ahead of
schedule, diagnostics on the phaser targeting software had been
incomplete and as a result, the software had been restored to
the latest thoroughly tested version. The new updates remained
in an isolated segment of the ship's main computer, so that
installing the new version could be reprised next USS Atlantis
visited spacedock. Procedures deemed it too dangerous to send
the ship out on new targeting software without an opportunity
for field testing. Other than that, everything else was nominal
across the board and Ensign Oskin Alexander could focus his
attention solely on regular operational resource allocation
requests.
Travelling at warp 6 left ample enough power available to
distribute all over the ship and this was needed too. From the
displayed list of power requests, Alexander could tell that
every single department was taking these hours underway to
Andoria to get the newly assigned crewmember worked in on their
teams. Crewmen and officers had to be trained to effectively use
systems they were unfamiliar with, systems that were
significantly different in design between the Galaxy-class and
the Sovereign-class. Such hands-on training required additional
power, which was readily available.
Alexander frowned as the minutes passed though. He wondered if
he had overdone it on the raktajino as he felt the rising need
to clear his own system of the excessive intake.

John heard the knock on his door and looked up and spoke on
word,"Come", he said as he moved his PADD's around on his desk.

Bridge
Ensign Oskin Alexander returned from what Ferengi refered to as
the waste extraction fixture adjacent to the bridge. He touched
the relief officer that had briefly taken his station on the
shoulder with a hand still tingling a little from the sonic
handwasher.
"Thanks, Jenaren-Benyu," he said, as the Grazerite officer
nodded and rose to vacate the chair.
"Didn't I see you come out of there before your shift began?"
the relief officer whispered, "Everything all right?" He had a
worried look on his face. With Lieutenant Shepard in sickbay and
undiagnosed as of yet, it seemed like good practise to keep an
eye on any other crewmembers falling ill. Jenaren-Benyu had no
medical training and had no idea whether there were illnesses
that affected Bajorans and Klingons alike and simply wanted to
err on the safe side of caution.
"I'm fine," Alexander replied in an equally whispered voice, "I
just had too much raktajino, hadn't expected to be called in
earlier. Won't happen again."
Jenaren-Benyu nodded, then grinned, then stepped away to a
station near the outer wall of the bridge.

Josh walked completely out of the door way. He started to walk
to his chair. He quickly turned to the doctor before the doors
on the turbolift closed. "Doctor please be available, I'll be
calling a senior briefing before we arrive at Andoria." But
before she could respond the doors closed. Josh then walked
towards his chair and sat down. He looked over towards Brooke.
He knew that was at warp bit not much time has passed maybe
thirty minutes. They still had 32 hours before they arrived.
"Commander i want a staff meeting in two hours." Josh looked
over at ops. He noticed Ensign Oskin at the station. "What
happened to Ensign Murray?"

" Understood I'll make the announcement Captain " Brooke replied
looking back at the Captain however before she could open the
comm he asked about Ensign Murray. " His duty shift was about to
end and there was no one to relieve him so I called Ensign Oskin
to start his shift early ". She would need to speak to the
Captain about the rosters at some point but there was plenty of
time to do that before they arrived at Andoria. Thumbing the
panel beside her she opened a channel =/\= Commander Edwards to
all Senior Staff there will be a meeting in the Conference Room
in two hours, Edwards out =/\= She then closed the channel and
returned her attention to the Captain.

Josh was looking see a PADD containing additional information.
He looked up just to rest his eyes. Then he noticed his first
officer looking at him. He turned his head towards her.
"Something on your mind commander."
