don't know who though. I'm sure we can convince them to stay."

Ready Room
"No doubt we'll get to the bottom of it, you know how we like to
deal with mysteries aboard this ship " Brooke replied grinning
slightly. They had certainly had their fair share of interesting
missions lately and this one would more than likely be the same
not that she minded and life was never boring being on the
Atlantis. " I'm sure we will too, are they assigning us a
diplomat to join us or are they leaving it to us to deal with,
without one ?".

It was disappointing to hear that there wasn't going to be any
diplomats helping them and as for them being responsible for the
fate of the Federation well that was worse. However all they
could do was go there and do their best on behalf of the Fleet
and the Federation and Brooke looked at the Captain wanting to
be as positive as she could " It is unfortunate and I agree its
not ideal having that kind of pressure on our shoulders but all
we can do is our best and I have every faith in you and this
crew that we can do that " she replied.

KnodwI was still working on his station, when a new person
arrived on the bridge. KnodwI was starting to feel in bad
health, which was unusual for him. Something was not right.
"Do you not know to use ranks on your previous command?",
growled KnodwI, not even looking to the new officer.
He moved towards the Lt. and just as he got in front of the Lt.,
he rammed his elbow into the LT. gut and put the back of his
hand into his face.
Just before KnodwI could anything else, three more officers
grabbed him and put him to the deck.
=^= Captain to the bridge, Security to the bridge, Sickbay to
the bridge, Medical Emergency =^=
KnodwI continued to struggle against the other officers that
were holding him down. Each time they looked into his eyes they
would roll upward.

mission I've done in years before the war started. One thing i
know about the Andorians is they hate diplomatic situations.
They're not ones interested in talking ask that much. They
usually like to fight more than talk."

ready room and quickly saw what was happening. Josh knelt down

Bridge
Before Brooke reply she heard the call and quickly followed the
Captain out of the Ready Room and onto the Bridge. With him
naturally going to his brothers aid and calling for Medical she
looked at those gathered and took over "What happened here ?"
she asked wanting answers.

Bridge
A signal from Starbase 378 necessitated Ensign Oskin’s immediate
attention. Cross referencing various readiness reports, the
young man slowly nodded at himself and tapped his chin with his
index finger as he pondered how to prioritise.
“Operations to Engineering,” he opened an intra-ship channel,
“Starbase operations report they are ready to commence filling
our deuterium tanks. We’re still well within acceptable minimal
requirements but they figure we can top off our tank while we’re
docked.”
Confused at the turmoil behind him, the young Ensign ended his
message by requesting the receiving officer in Engineering to
stand by.

[Personal Quarters - Deck 2]
Nevir had just finished unpacking. His quarters were pretty
nice, all things considered. Senior officer quarters to fit his
senior officer status. Not only that, he was given what many in
Starfleet considered the 'luxury package'; he was on a Galaxy
class vessel. Deep space exploration, and the first class of
ships designed with long term residency in mind. Most ships
were equipped for years, and had rotations of at most 5. Galaxy
ships, though, were build for generations. They were the first
vessels with the idea of personnel growing up and livin their
lives on board. Still... internally he was still a bit unsure
of himself.
It wasn't a demotion. It was a reassignment. He held his rank,
his prestige... and there really was no reason for a dark mark
on his command experience. The admiral also mentioned this
being temporary. Without a ship... his choices were limited.
Sighing to himself, he checked himself in the mirror. Once more
he donned blue. He had nothing against science blue, in fact he
was a devoted scientist. He just... started to get used to red,
and now he held a different uniform. At least this one held the
three pips of commander.
[CSO Head Office - Main Science Lab]
He worked in many labs before in his career, but never in such a
lab as this. Ship labs were utilitarian, everything you needed
and nothing more. You had to request a refit for certain
experiments. Not here. There were more than a dozen separate
labs, each one different than the last, and every piece of
equipment one could dream of was already on board. Anything not
on board was easily replicated and had the room to be in. And
the main lab... that was like walking into home with a full
library. His office had a full homely feel; hell he half
expected to see a holo-fireplace. But here he was able to
display his favorite items, and still had room to spare. Plus
the desk was nothing to scoff at.
Sure.. this was temporary, and still felt like a lower
position... but he could get used to this.
It was still shore leave for the most part, so he didn't expect
his staff to be fully on board. Instead, he had the computer
play some relaxing classical music, had some Bajoran tea, and
started to read about his team.

[Bridge]
Before John could reply he had a sharp pain in his gut and also
his face as he fell back on the ground. As he laided on the
floor three officers grabbed the Klingon and restrained him. He
turned and noticed the CO and XO run on to the Bridge.

John was in lots of pain and just stayed still until someone
spoke to him.
