Jakx Forrester Reporting [Jakx/Brooke]

Having finished settling in to his quarters he would head out
and head over to 2nd deck where to quarters of the First Officer
was located. After navigating his way over there he would stand
in front of the door and straighten his uniform before pressing
on the pad next to the door to announce his presence if the
commander was inside.

The Edwards Quarters
Brooke was putting the finishing touches to her and Jacob's new
quarters when she heard the door chime, standing up she crossed
to the door and activated the lock mechanism. As the door opened
it revealed a crew member she wasn't familiar with as yet but
knew that some of the crew from the Endeavour had been
transferred over, " Hello Cadet " she said politely.

As the door opened and seeing that the person who he intended to
meet was standing in front of him Jakx would straighten up.
'Cadet 1st class Jakx Forrester reporting. I received your
orders for my reassignment. i thought it would be best to report
to you. As i am not acquainted with anybody on this vessel.'
Jakx would sat saluting in the process.

Brooke listened as the Cadet introduced himself and the name did
ring a bell, they didn't have many cadets on board the Atlantis
and knew that herself and the rest of the crew would make him
feel welcome. "At ease Cadet Forrester and thank you for
reporting to me " Brooke replied " Please come in and I'll
introduce you to my husband and your Second Officer ".

She would move aside welcoming him in. Jakx would take a few
steps inside the room before stopping and waiting for her to
continue. He would politely say 'The touches you have made to
this room are very nice m'am. Hopefully my quarters will feel a
bit more like home soon.'

"Thank you we've just moved into here and I'm sure they will "
She replied with a smile remembering when she was a cadet and
understood how he might be feeling. " Please take a seat and
I'll get my husband " she said walking into the bedroom " It was
one of the new cadets reporting in, I thought it would be a good
idea for you to meet him too " she said looking at her husband.

As she walked away Jakx would move into the living area and
stand just in front of one of the seats waiting for his second
officer to show his face. When he would walk out Jakx would once
again salute this time aimed at the second officer and the
husband of Brooke.

Jacob looked up and smiled at Brooke when she said that a new

then said "OK. Let's go meet your cadet." He sat up from the
chair and walked with her to the living area to meet the new
cadet.

Brooke smiled as her husband agreed to join her and meet their
latest crew member, walking back into the living area with him
she noticed that Forrester hadn't sat down and wanted to put him
at ease. " Cadet Forrester this is my husband Chief Engineer and
Second Officer, Lieutenant Commander Jacob Edwards " she said
making the introductions.

Putting down his salute he would wait until the couple were
seated before taking a seat himself. 'Good-day Lieutenant
Commander, Cadet Jakx Forrester. Operations, sir. Its and honour
serving with you both. I hope that their is much i can learn
during my stint here.''
