Character Bio: Jacky grew up on Earth in a small Washingtonian
town called Lacey. His father having attempted and failing to
get into Starfleet in his youth wanted nothing to do with the
organization feeling they had wrongly expelled him. Truth be
told His father was a drunk even at age 19 when he was in the
academy and that reflected onto the way he treated his family.
Growing up Jacky was always being mistreated by his father and
cared for by his mother, It was difficult at times but his
mother always reminded him. "Remember that I will be here when
you need me, however I won't protect your honor for you." Those
were the very words that played in Jackson's head as he dressed
for Starfleet Academy,a place Jacky had been preparing to go
since the day he turned 13, preparing to leave his childhood
home for as long as possible.

Previous Role-Playing Experience: 6 years Role-Play Experience,
Usually things in Fantasy but a few stray Star Wars and Fannon
things as far as qualifying for this I once did a Fighter Jet
Squadron RP over on RolePlayerGuild
Department Preference: Flight Operations
Secondary Department Preference: Engineering
Sample Post: "Jackson Alan McQueen, Get your Ungrateful butt
down here right now!" The older man yelled from downstairs.
Clearly Jackson's father had found the Starfleet Academy letter
he had received at the same time as the uniform he was currently
wearing. It was an acceptance letter and Jackson's father
Johnathan was furious, but Jackson walked down the stairs anyway
uniform on perfectly and brushed past the man to hug his mother.
"You look so handsome Jacky, I'm so very proud of you." she said
in a voice that sounded to Jacky like she was about to cry.
"Proud? How could you be proud of this little runt?" Johnathan
slurred as Jackson turned around to face him. "If you think
you're going to that place you must be out of your mind boy." He
continued.
"Why is that dad?" Jackson snapped back putting emphasis on the
word dad. "Are you afraid I might actually get in and not get
kicked out for being drunk?" he continued spitting venom in
every word he said. Jackson's father had really had this all
coming for a long time now but he wouldn't had thought so.
"Why you ungrateful, weak, cowardly, mistake of a son!" the
drunk man yelled as he swung wildly at Jackson who either dodged
or blocked nearly every punch before finally getting fed up with
his fathers antics and as Jackson closed his fist and swung he
stared directly into his fathers eyes and realized for the first
time that while this man might be his father biologically he
could never truly be a dad.
Additional information: Jackson stands at 6' 2" and weighs 235
lbs

Hey Jackson McQueen,
After reading your application, we would love to accept you into
the fleet as a Ensign on the USS Atlantis!
As seen in our help files, you can see that all of our new
members start at either rank Cadet I or Crewman depending on
whether you picked the enlisted route or not. Both courses are
as rewarding as each other but also challenging at the same
time. This will allow us to test your knowledge through them but
also your writing skills too, both of which are important to
have.
